I'm sure it does as they fall under the NDA. As far as I know around here we're only talking about what's been leaked(such as betacake) and the client that was made public.

With as many people as they claim are going to be in the stress test, a NDA seems pretty futile. Hopefully they drop it real soon.

I'm aware, but I'm waiting a bit longer. One time I upgraded during a console transition and suddenly there were multi-core processors and shit.

Waiting to see if PC specs are about to take a huge jump again before upgrading, then I'll make a $700 or so machine. Never making another $1500 computer.

Lol. No matter when you upgrade or get a new PC, as soon as you do it something fucking more awesome gets announced the next week.

Yeah, but with how long consoles are out these days (like 7 years?), I want to try to make sure it can last around 6 or so. I'm not talking about running stuff at max settings, I just want to make sure my computer isn't shitting itself in like 2 years.

Sounds like they are accomplishing their goals then. They said it wasn't going to be fun (which is why they are letting stress testers into closed beta ASAP) and wanted to actually break stuff. Hopefully they know what to do to fix it now.

I'll give them one thing. Perfect weekend to do a stress test. None of that 2pm on a fucking wednesday shit that GW2 did.

700 will get about 2 to 3 years out of rig as long you not into max setting with High res and AA...1500 is about 4 to 5 you'll get a couple years of max out gaming..I refresh every 2 to 3 at 5k a pop so I know he feeling.

I never really cared about max settings much. If I could get 6 years of a decent frame rate at not max settings, I'd be happy.

I just know that if I buy a PC with 8 gigs of RAM, suddenly everything will require 32 gigs a year later and I'll be pissed.
