I'm still actively doing garrison stuff on my main, this weekend might be the first couple of days since launch I didn't go and do my herbing/mining. My main is also still a miner because I haven't gotten around to picking another profession. They all feel so devalued due to the garrison buildings I'm really not sure what I'd want to bother with anyways.
I even started fishing, not sure why, but need to get that building to level 3 for the vague rewards I never bothered to look up and to get fishing to 700 for the follower.
Every week I'm getting a new follower from my Inn, and by the following Tuesday (usually Sunday or Monday) they're 100 and starting the trudge towards a purple border.
Only thing I haven't really bothered with and have no plans to at the moment is the menagerie. My wife was into pet battles and did the legwork to build hers but the most I've dabbled in was to get 3 pets to ~8-9.
Have a few 91-94 alts, due to logging in just to collect garrison cache and send their 3-5 followers on missions their followers are all 100 or close to it. Can't imagine having the full 30 or so followers on every character, not without much better support outside of the game, which they seem set on not providing or going in that direction. Pet battles and garrison management really should exist outside the game in some form, missed opportunities there.
