The Arms nerfs are somewhat justified, but didn't think they'd nerf the ring by that much, but it's still BiS (I was worried it get the same nerf like it did for Fury, rendering it useless).

It looks like post-nerfs Helm/Gloves are somewhat interchangeable now, rather than Helm all the time.

After having to take a break from raiding as per some health issues my SO is having and needing to go to doctors appointments constantly, I find myself logging in less and less. I don't think I could make myself log in to do weekly clears of heroic ToS to keep up-to-date on gear or do my weekly 15.

I wish I won the roll on the Gul'dan mount now.

Flight Whistle is, indeed, one of the best things they did this expansion. Even with flying I find myself using the whistle, especially when I want to go AFK right after finishing a world quest or whatever.

I find myself missing the flight master's whistle when I am forced back to MoP (still farming Sha/Galleon for the mounts /wrist).

Dumb question, used lv 100 token on an alt. They have 700/700 mining, but not the skills to smelt WOD ores, not available on trainer, and I've mined a ton of it and I think that's what gave me the book raising to 700, or at least it did on main with herb.....

Know how I actually learn those wod mining skills? Is there even WoD flying at all? My main skipped it going MOP>Legion due to friend xp boost, and this alt of course skipped it going straight to 100. Was farting around with the wod garrison just to see what that was all about.

There is no smelting in WoD, all recipes use ore since the WoD redesign. You can see what recipes you are missing in the Unlearned tap at the top of the trade skill interface.

Flying in WoD was added as an afterthought, they had to scramble to finish the zones half way though, just to add flying. It is tied to achievements, just like Legion, look it up on WoWhead and they probably have a guide for the fastest way to get it.

Some of these dungeon changes are absurd and fuck literally anybody out there that says these dungeons were fine and balanced when they're reducing abilities by 50-90%

I mean I was fine healing cause I'm amazing obviously but Jesus dude for the difficulty we were doing and the gear we were receiving was fucked. I'm glad they changed some of these.

T21 is the most uninspiring set bonuses I've seen to date. Hoping they made it like that because it's going to be a nightmare to balance around the new relic system.

I would actually welcome more straightforward set bonus and trinket effects. They don't seem to be doing an even halfway decent job at balancing any of the interesting effects they've put on items in Legion. Legendaries have been a shit show the entire expansion and then you have the problem of some set bonuses being outrageously good while others are practically worthless. They had to nerf a lot of T19 set bonuses just to make people want to wear T20.

Actually I'd be fine with them removing set bonuses entirely.

Eh... the set bonuses are really the saving grace for the gear that is otherwise just +gooder. That was the genius aspect of Diablo 3, and to a much lesser degree Destiny, that through sometimes subtle interaction of special properties you could radically reinvent a whole playstyle.

The +gooder scales are so freaking linear that it doesn't really feel like an accomplishment to obtain even several of those items.

Eh I'm getting tired of all the fancy effects on trinkets + legendaries + set bonuses. In fact I don't even use my 4 piece because I lose way too much mastery if I do and get very little benefit from the effect (I can use Army of the Dead once more per fight)

Honestly I'd like to be able to replace my 860 Arcanocrystal. Which is the opposite problem. I don't mind the cross-contamination of +effects, I just wish they were handled like they are in Diablo. Unlock an effect, and you can have three effects active at a time. That way you can use ideal gear, and not have to sacrifice massive amounts of stats because a +% modifier is 0.001% "gooder". That's not fun or interesting.

I like neat passive effects, like war tank ones of old. Just from my tiny dinkering, I hate how many active effects and clickies there are. Some of these classes I'm starting to run out of room even with 5 button mouse, typical 1-8, z,x,c , `,q,e still short buttons.

That's because you're a shitty Lich King minion. As a minion of the Old Gods (Shadow Priest, as my blade likes to remind me regularly, when she's not complaining that the fight is boring) my T20 4-piece would probably make me pick a LFR cloak over my legendary (which is the 2nd BIS legendary) if needed.
