Think it's now going to pair you not only with people who chose the same type of ruleset but it sounds like it somehow pairs you with people you've played with a lot and of course your guild? She could have expanded on this but it did sound interesting.

With the character names you can now get a surname, so that should help.

I wonder if they are going to tune the mobs harder. With all the new itemization, class rebalances, etc, player power is likely going to jump significantly.
