The buy in for Bronzebeard seems a little convoluted. You have to have a character on one of their normal servers, buy the Alpha package for that server and apply it to the character. Then open the package with the character on the normal server to flag that account. Do I have the steps right?

Yes. If you just want to fuck around. Conquest of Azeroth is really fun and interesting. Same purchase method.

Turtle pvp had an active Saturdee considering it was down to nothing and back up to 1300 territory (launch was thousands and thousands of)

anyone wanna drop some tech knowledge on how that works... i know nothing about wow emu, but envisioning something like eq client being rewritten in UE seems insane on the amount of work... did they seriously just use the assets and program all client side systems? maybe they're somehow using the client code because wow client was developed in such a way?

Its some kind of superimposed system. Since they let you use the original client (1.12 is their version) even with this update all of the unreal stuff is on top of that. As the client to server interaction is the meat of the game's functionality the same client is still clearly doing all of that.

I said whatever I wanted on there, griefed retards and got a mage Atiesh.

Usually me figuring this thing out is I get summoned by a GM and suspended for referring to other guilds as ape enclosures, informing them that we control recruitment and it's over for them etc

Plus this server is functioning and can handle 8k+ online.

I'll probably go play Turtle wow some more when their ultra hi res patch thing is done. That will be cool to see. I have a few lowbies there I could play. The brewmaster challenge looks kind of fun.
