I found that my inner dialogue is somehow finding its way out of my mouth.

Earlier today I was at my desk responding to an email and unbeknownst to me I was narrating the entire thing as I wrote it. I didn’t realize it until my wife walked by and asked me who I was talking to.

I snapped up at her and said no one.

She smiled and said I know.

He sat in his chair tapping at the keys as the annoyance swelled within him.

"With all due respect" he typed in his email. Knowing the clear "fuck you" behind the meaning.

"Who are you talking to?"

Snapping me out of my frustration fueled email.

"No one" I said slightly confused

Had she walked in on me while posting here.

I don't even think my wife understands what this forum is all about. She has never asked and I've never really brought it up.

I have FOH up on a second monitor more often than not and the most she had ever said is "That isn't work" in a joking manner while the screen is filled with people calling each other faggot and obscure memes that are probably like hieroglyphics to her.

Went to the doctors the other day. The neighbour's kid was waiting in the reception so I sat next to him. I've spoken to him a few times, he's in his late teens and is unusually talkative for his generation. We were chatting about this, that and the other when he asked me how old I was. I decided to be funny and repeat the age old joke that "I'm old enough to remember when MTV played music videos!" The dude didn't get it. First, he had never heard of MTV - his generation just does not watch TV. When I tried to explain it he didn't understand why something called MTV - "Music TeleVision" would not play music videos. What an utter waste of a joke. But hey, I guess I can now say I'm old enough to have actually watched MTV at some point... Yay!

Never heard of anyone banning them, but I had both. Did anyone else take whole rolls of caps and hit them with a hammer?

What's wild is that those roll caps came from an actual ignition system for a civil war era gun. The Maynard rifle. I've never seen a maynard lock, but from what I've heard the lockwork was pretty much just like what we had in our toy guns.

first few seconds of this vid shows how it works

he says rifle primers had 36 bits of compound in each. don't know if that is an official measurement unit or what, internet says it was 5–15 mg, while toy guns used 1-2mg.

ian has a couple of vids with tape primer

I once saw a video of a guy making primers from those toy caps. I don't remember how many caps it took per primer.
