i seem to always have to go at least once, but if i take 50mg diphenhydramine have about 80% chance to sleep through the night. posted this before in the health problem thread. my sleeping heart rate will be 40-60 most nights, when i get up to go piss, it will jump to 100ish. insurance spent $1000's just for me to end up at a specialist to tell me i was getting out of bed to quickly. i should sit up, wait, put my feet off the bed, wait, then get up slowly. like that is going to happen with i am half asleep and need to pee

I'm still confused as to what the fuck pickleball is and why it came out of nowhere and why the fuck is it absolutely everywhere now.
Pickleball at rec levels isn't really a sport its more of a social activity. It looks stupid and sounds stupid but it's reasonably fun to actually play.

If you're adverse to doing the "current trend thing" and think doing what everyone else is doing it's yucky, but if you go with 10 friends and just bat the ball around for a couple hours while shit talking and taking a shot between each game, it's fucking nuts. Don't take it too seriously and just go have fun with friends it's no different than cornhole, darts, beer pong, or any other silly game you do while hanging out with friends.

I'm up to 6 pisses a night.
Like other people have said, you need to get your prostate checked big time man, I'm not much younger than you and I can still sleep 10 hours without getting up at all... and I don't hold off from liquid before bed, I'm drinking a big glass of soda or water in the hour or 2 before bed.

I know the getting up at night thing is normal as we get older but 6 times if you're not even 60 is extremely excessive.

I never realized cornhole was that popular until I was at a sports bar type place and saw professional cornhole on TV.

It's also not as dangerous so it sucks. Bring back lawn darts IMO. The only thing cornhole has going for it is it's portability. Technically horseshoes is portable too, but you still have to drive that stob in the ground.

I watched that once. So fucking boring. Basically whoever missed first lost. The one I watched had some autistic looking kid beating the shit out of everyone. I think he actually did miss a throw once but still won.

I used to go down to the tennis courts and hit a few balls back and forth with my wife. Then covid happened and the courts were off limit.

My driveway is large and flat enough that I could paint a pickleball court on it. I bought a portable net, and we used the heck out of that court when that was all there was to do. It's like tennis but because the balls are lighter and slower and the paddles weigh almost nothing, it doesn't give you tennis elbow. The court is smaller, and the play is slower therefore you don't have to run as fast which is easier on the knees and ankles. You can quickly get reasonably good at it so it's more fun sooner than tennis is. It's just tennis for old people and good exercise for folks my age.
