No. The point was that the money must be used for something that stupid that will make no difference at all.to cover the (non-retard half of) costs from accidents caused by retards that weren't caught in time.

I gotta admit, adaptive cruise, blind spot warning ,lane assist, I'm finding myself not paying attention as much as I should be.wait another generation or two, that will be brought up without ever being in a car without lane assist, braking assist, blind spot checking, crash detection, steering assist, speed assist, parking assist, backup assist.....
See... I'm still vigilant about driving. I think AI's first move will be to pull a Batman before out right exterminating us. It'll do it's job long enough for us to become complacent and then...I gotta admit, adaptive cruise, blind spot warning ,lane assist, I'm finding myself not paying attention as much as I should be.

Don't feel too bad. I think I have like 37 caulk guns. The first couple of times I couldn't find the one I knew I had somewhere. The other times, I just bought another whenever I need to pick up caulk for something because that was easier than digging any of the other ones out of whatever godforsaken bin they managed to end up in.Every know and then I get a reaction on this board to an old picture I posted in the random picture thread so I'll go check it out just to see what it was. Most of the time it's like looking at the picture for the first time, like I have no memory of ever having seen it. It's kinda awesome and terrifying at the same time. Then this happened...
I was shopping for a Dremel because I needed to do some fine work on some metal. At the same time my wife wanted to look through the bins of yarn we have stored. What do I find? A Dremel I'd bought 25 years ago. Now I'm sitting here wondering what else I own that I've completely forgotten about. I'm not sure if this is the aging mind or simply too much stuff to remember it all... or maybe that also is aging.

I do that with paint rollers.Don't feel too bad. I think I have like 37 caulk guns. The first couple of times I couldn't find the one I knew I had somewhere. The other times, I just bought another whenever I need to pick up caulk for something because that was easier than digging any of the other ones out of whatever godforsaken bin they managed to end up in.
