I've been playing the over the last year and it's definately a fun game, and is pretty well polished now it's released. There's still some pretty annoying bugs, most of which I've reported in previous stages of development that still haven't been fixed, but hopefully there will be a post release...

I'm holding off playing this again until Alpha 17. They messed up a lot of stuff in Alpha 16: AI pathing, smell detection to name a couple. Plus in Alpha 17 they are removing the "wellness" mechanic thankfully, and revamping the skill system.

Finally, they seem to have realised people like to know what's going on with the game they're looking forward to! A message to our community.

I think most people are super excited for this game, but with no (even tentative) release schedule, the hype train has long since departed. I can't wait for this game, but people don't want another gameplay video, they want to know when they can play it.

The first game was amazing, I must have played through it start to finish 3 or 4 times now. I'm certainly going to be very wary this having Ubisoft's shadow looming over it though.

I think the next 50% off sale I'll likely get this, it is looking a lot more fleshed out now. It's just a shame that like many other companies they made the decision to launch a year too early and this, like in so many other cases, is the result.

Everything since Dawn of War II: Chaos RIsing has been an increasing disappointment. I don't understand how the franchise has failed so horribly when it could have been a license to print money.

Indeed. Well anyway, it looks like Prince Philip is retiring. It's long overdue, he's starting to look like that bad guy from Indiana Jones after he drank from the wrong cup.
