Likely be the other way around. All servers will progress to TBC but they'll be an option to move your character to a Classic only server. That way they have to move less characters and the mass exodus of players to TBC won't leave servers decimated.

This was just renewed for season 4. I was going to tough it out for the last 2 episodes just to see how it ended, but now that end is nowhere in sight. I don't think I've ever stopped watching a show because it was renewed, but I guess we live in crazy times.
