God dammit. My coworkers are going to wonder why I'm tearing up a little.

Like most of the others that have already posted, I only knew Gravy indirectly, never having any real interaction with him beyond reading his posts, but I don't think there is anyone here that didn't think he was a solid and caring individual. Which, given the internet and the people that post on it, is basically a miracle. I only wish that the miracle could have somehow been the one that you really wanted.

I'm so sorry for your loss, and thank you so much for opening yourself up emotionally like this and informing us of his passing. I know it can't have been easy.

You can click on the top right under "my profile" and you can look on the left side and see "find latest posts". You can go through those and see all things things that your husband shared with us and in a way you can hear his words as you need to hear them.

We've been bombarded with news of deaths recently, but this is the one that hit me the most.

I'm not a sports guy, I only saw his posts once in a while, but Gravy was a nice guy (nicer than most, including me) and he was one of us. We have a rich and vibrant community here and it's painful to see one of us get taken too early. He will be missed.

OK, that was the second big laugh I had today - thanks for that!

As a note to you - we were married for over 25 years; I am keenly aware of the amount, type and variety of pornography he viewed. He has always been honest with me about most of it but also a dying man shares a lot of stuff.
Also - I already know how to recover his browser history. I am technologically challenged but the internet is rife with instruction.

NO wonder he liked this place so much. Therapy here is way cheaper than talking to a psychologist.
