I'm sure there will still be a decent resale market to start out with, but don't think I'm going to bother with it. I had 3 preorders from different places, cancelled one and am going to cancel another and just keep the amazon one. I hate the hassle of reselling.

My New 3DS came out before the hacks, and I never hacked mine, bought lots of digital games. For the Switch, I'm going the opposite way - only buying physical games with the mind to resell them quickly, and eagerly awaiting dat sweet sweet piracy.

With the Tegra chipset, it stands to reason that the Switch is possibly running on some unique version of Android. That would also lead me to believe it may be hacked rather quickly. We'll see.

No VC, shit hardware, very limited software (more so than usual) a shit online service which may or may not ever function correctly which requires a separate device to even use, no apps, I mean.... Holy fucking shit guys.

Why the fuck is ANYONE buying this.

switch definitely feels like its releasing as a beta. a $400 beta.

if you do have a pre order, this weekend is the last chance to cancel, it should start shipping out mon to wed from best buy, amazon, etc.

Oh man. So not only did they completely screw the pooch on any feature from online to VC/Apps, the hardware isn't even functioning correctly. And lol...

the Switch’s online components, including account registration and retrieval, online play, wireless networking for protected hotspots and even the online store are not currently functional. These are locked behind a “day one” software update that Nintendo apparently expects to go live right around the same time the console goes on sale.

Does this thing have any games other than Zelda? Why release it with no big name games? I heard it's second proper game (Mario) is out at Christmas!?!?

They are advertising this on UK TV with a very shitty looking Wii Sports clone game, no mention of Zelda.

I really had my hopes up for this as a nice hybrid between the genius of the 3DS and the social-fun of playing on the big screen, but it seems as if Nintendo got too cocky after Splatoon.
