We have a rotating food truck at the office and today it's a new Ethiopian one. Eating an Ethiopian burrito and it's pretty damn good. Not bad for $7.
I am jealous. We have a decent food truck scene but it's in "the city". My 30-minute lunch break does not even get me close. It barely gets me drive through fodder.

A Chick-Fil-A just opened near me, and I was coming here to see if I could get a tl;dr explanation of the place, and I guess I don't have to look very far.

There's also a Five Guys and a Mod Pizza going in across the street. Are either of these anything special?

Mod Pizza is awesome. I mean, it's basic pizza, but you can build it yourself. It's basically like Subway or Chipotle for pizza, where you move down the line and tell them what to add to your pizza. One of their gimmicks is that there is no limit on how much of a topping you can put on your pizza. So you can have them load the fucker up with all the meat you want.

I went to a pizza place like that once in Cincinnati. Blaze. Pretty sure it's a chain. It was solid.

They used to have a pizza place here where they would assemble your pizza with the toppings you ask for and wrap it so you took it home and baked it. They had awesome toppings, and it took about 4 minutes to get a totally custom pizza and costed $10 for an extra large. I miss that place.

Had grilled chicken mcmuffin at Chick-Fil-A yesterday morning. They don't have much selection but my quest to find one bad item is still ongoing.
I thought it would be the one thing I could finally say was crap, but man I was wrong. That thing was amazing.
chik fil a is quality
the premise is silly, working 24 hours is dumb, but you do get to see the entire operation.

Pad Kee Mow all the way!
I love spicy noodle! That is the dish I always recommend to people but today I got an appetizer of the satay that comes with a small cucumber salad and tom yam kung soup and I added the hot pepper flakes and sauce to both for extra POW! :)

Try everything for yourself but the general consensus is the nuggets and bfast is tits, the chicken sammys are overrated.
I know I'm the outlier, but I like their sandwiches. I think they have a superior spicy chicken sandwich as well.

I think they're good, but when I spend my calories I spend them elsewhere (unless on the nuggets or bfast)

What if it's free?

I would eat it, but I would be thinking that the person who bought it should spend their money more wisely.

Papa Murphy's?

Was it Papa Murphy's? Nationwide chain does that. Ours is still open and they are pretty good.

Yup. Wife and i get it fairly often. Pretty good pizza.

It was, I just couldn't remember the name. They were pretty good, worked well on short order if you had a huge number of people coming without much planning, and it was tasty. Don't know why they closed here, they were super busy.

Outlier? I love their chicken sandwich. That spicy deluxe is my favorite fast food chicken sandwich. I'm actually blown away by that Bon Apetit video. I didn't know they made all that stuff at the restaurant.

It's splitting hairs for me between them and Wendy's for spicy's. But damned if their "seasonal" something-something BBQ isn't the best fucking grilled chicken sandwich I've had in my life.

I usually can't stand grilled chicken sandwiches, but something about it spoke to me yesterday - and it was like the heaven's parted. So good.
