World of Warcraft: Current Year

MW is super fun, I kind of want to main it but I enjoy my paladin a lot still so meh

Do paladin healers actually stand in the very thick of it now or do people mostly ignore all the proximity healing stuff and dump stat mastery? Also not a huge fan of light of dawn with no good visual of exactly where it hits? Even the graphic doesn't give you the best clue so harder to learn. I imagine much much more usefull in a raid with a bunch of clumps of people but seems more meh unless dungeon is tank +3 melee.

Sadly the holy pally discord doesn't seem quite as nicely written/layed out as the warrior.

No the good ones are in the melee clump as the fight allows (generally). There's also one of the talents I think that gives you AM bonus or something like that with double range check on mastery when you push the button.

I find Holy Pally to be the most boring healer. Fewer tools and too much casting,

What pally has utility for days. Especially in Tomb of Soak-geras.

Monk is like the only class I've never raided with besides mage. I'm really interested in their healing. Our monk is usually top heals in our raids and he is very undergeared compared to the other healers. BwM seems like the most fun tank ever. From leveling the WW monk though that spec felt a little bland.

Sorry if this has been asked already, but just curious if it's been announced somewhere whether or not certain artifact skins will cease to be obtainable in the next expansion? Specifically pvp or the Balance of Power questline. I've seen posts elsewhere hinting at this being a potential reality, but the posts are a few months old. Kinda wondering if I should start grinding out a few prestiges on alts

I don't see why they would discontinue the artifact skins. I understood the legendary thing but I just don't see why they would do that. Oh wait, because Blizzard

Brm is the most fun class combo I've played in this game. Definitely most fun tank. Although at some level a tank is a tank. I just love the reactive nature

I don't bother standing in melee most of the time, I stand with the range. The way our mastery works with a talent allows for our beacon target to act as if we're standing right on top of them so you get that melee proximity as well as the range proximity. It also just depends on the fight, if the boss doesn't cleave at all but hits hard as shit (which is rare these days) I just plant myself right on top of the tanks.

Also paladin utility is insane, idk what you're talking about. BoP and shield can soak on almost every single fight that requires soaking. Freedom can be used especially on trash cause everything slows for some reason, sacrifice for when tanks have debuffs and are taking fuckton of dmg + using divine protection to reduce your incoming dmg. I use all of my blessings on almost every fight, they also in 5mans allow for the complete ignoring of mechanics.

Light of Dawn is just a cone in front of you, has a pretty good range honestly and I pretty much use it on CD always especially with 4pc. If you position yourself in 5mans it makes a gigantic difference especially during weeks like this if more than one person has grievous, it can crit heal for quite a lot.

Getting back into the swing of things slowly but surely. I can't promise that I'll be able to make all your raids, due to time. I'm PST, so even 6pm is a little early sometimes, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

My Monk though is AK2, lol, and not even 810 iLvl yet, so it's gonna be a while I think before I can contribute on your raids.

Sidenote: For reasons, I came back with 0 money. Not even a gold, but I had a ton of mats on me that if I remember right was waiting for the price to go up to sell them. Just listed everything yesterday and came back today with 42k golds. Lol... time to buy myself past at least 810 gear score on the monk so I can at least queue for Heroic LFD.

The good news is AK only takes like 4 hours now to learn a new rank all the way up to 40, so it wont' take you 2 months at least.

If you have higher AK on one of your characters you can buy a book in order hall to send to your alt. It hink the numbers are like.. 25, 30, and 40 so your alt will immediately get that AK

I'm probably not gonna do it today but if you're in the guild I can rush you through a few heroics to at least get you up to LFR eligible ilvl

Concordance is ultimate retardation

They should just turn AP into currency so after grinding for a month and a half I can be like "oh yeah I have 2b ap I guess I can use"

Yea, I think on my Warlock, I can buy a book that'll get me to AK15? Might spend some time grinding some order hall resources, so that I can send that over to my Monk. Luckily, I knew I was gonna go MW from the start, so all my AP so far as gone into MW.

At 110 and ak40 the numbers are so huge that whatever you did before ak40 is essentially irrelevant. I think in TOS I get tokens worth 30M

Lol... I'm getting tokens worth 35 AP right now from Normal dungeons.

Edit: Has much changed with WQs? I've got the addon and stuff, and see the list. Also have the WQ Group Finder addon, but still the easiest way is go DPS spec, and just grind them out? Not any secret more efficient way to get them done?
