Just accepted a new job offer that's a telecommute. Getting sent a new Mac for work and my desk isn't big enough for two full setups. Anyone have any recommendations for a KVM switch or similar that isn't ball-busting on the wallet? Would need to work with both Mac and PC (not sure if this is a limitation at all for these).

Google says Synergy software lets you do this

I should have been more specific (Although Synergy is very nice and I've used it lots in the past). I'm looking to have both of my external displays available for both my PC and Mac computers. I'll only be using one computer at a time (work hours, then after-work hours) and just want a nicer solution than having to swap cables back and forth every day.

I'd just hook the monitors up via DVI to the PC and then HDMI to the mac. You may need an adapter for the dual display. Then either swap the receiver if you have wireless mouse/keyboard or use a USB hub. Digital kvms are retarded expensive so you'd have to do analogue with adapters to make it work with the mac.

You can always just vnc to the mac from your PC as well which should be fine unless you need it for graphic design.

With AMD coming out with a 500 watt 1080 two years late as "competition", I'm surprised they didn't charge $5000.00 for Volta...

So what would you guys recommend for water cooling? I've always used air coolers but I figure I'll try water cooling out. I want something simple, quiet and preferably $150 or under.

So I'm building a media box that I want to attack to my 4k smart TV, and I'm not sure what kind of specs I'll need to actively output 4k quality video without stuttering. I've got an old GTX 970 would that generally be efficient to output 4k video files?

I picked up the Corsair H60 for my recent build, it's quiet and gets the job done Not bad for $50 (on sale atm)

I've had shit experience with NZXT Krakens (I've had 3). Zero issues with Corsairs (I've had 2).

That said, TweakTown's benchmarks are something you could start with for temp charts and sound levels.

I installed a corsair all in one on my brothers computer and its still rocking like 6 years later, no issues. I remember it being like 2-3 C cooler @ idle than my CM212, same proc and same OC.

Best ultrawide monitor for gaming.

I have a GTX1080.

Price not an issue but I do enjoy getting bang for my buck.
