Fall 2018 Anime Thread

Slime's Asian chick is pretty cute, in an assassin fire-user kind of way. Good for him?

Regarding Gridman, Rikka continues to be cute, but the crazy Kaiju chick has huge tits. This isn't really breaking news, but they were on full display this episode. I've never cared about anime sexuality, but I guess it's something to enjoy as you watch.

Also, Sumo continues to be a damn good show. I can't quite put my finger on why, but it makes me happy to watch. It's a pretty typical story, though. Kid doesn't meet the characteristics needed to do what he loves, but he has unbreakable spirit and determination. And he's able to win. It's kind of like Boku not Hero Academia in that sense. But at the same time, it's nothing at all like that. I'll keep enjoying it.

I would like the honor of doing that myself. I'm sure my wife wouldn't mind. She's a bunny girl, after all.


EDIT:
Newest episode of SAO told more of the back story about why he's in the giant demon tree universe. But also, it expanded on something that the light novels haven't touched yet, so it'll probably be something that's coming later. In fact, I've read the 14 Light Novels that are available in English. There have been 6 books in this story arc, which only accounts for ~24 episodes of story (4 episodes per book). You figure that season 3 is expected to run 40-44 episodes, I still have to read another 4-5 Light Novels about this saga (that haven't been translated yet). Which is strange, because it feels like it "should" come to a close next book. So I can only imagine that something this episode implied is what happens later in the books that allows it to run quite a few books longer.

This isn't really a spoiler, just a train of thought. I also didn't mention book content, so I'm not going to spoiler it.

Slime dominates yet again. I really get a kick out of this show.

That was last season. The final episode aired on October 15th. Episode 50 doesn't come out until some time in April.

Also, Bunny was another decent episode this week. The 2nd version of best friend is kind of hot. And somehow a crush from 7th grade has emerged. This show has all kinds of time fuckery going on.

SAO finally unveiled Kirito's Night Sky Sword, which is nice. And yeah, they're finally getting into sword fighting at least. From this point on, the 3rd season should be full of action, minus when they first meet Cardinal. That section doesn't have any action at all. Just back story.

EDIT: And Goblin Slayer was pretty strong also. I doubt that what we think is happening will actually happen. Also, why does the heroic priestess chick have her eyes covered? I assume she's blind, but they never actually explained it.
