I didn't hook up the hose on mine for water based paints. I think the filter gets it all. Could always test it egress with some white paper to see if anything is getting out the filter. Mine is mostly dirty from testing on cardboard when I first got it. I don't think there's a lot of...

I bought a master airbrush compressor w/tank and airbrush kit maybe 6 months ago. I've only used it a few times for priming and basing, but I love it. I know the airbrush isn't the best, but it does what I need. With flow improved and thinner( both vallejo), I can do thin coats that really speed...

    Starfield - Fallout fallout that isn't ES6

I just finished the Crimson Fleet quest line. Its definitely my favorite thus far, followed by UC vanguard. Putting a point into stealth made finishing the stealth part pretty easy. I just have Ryujin left for the main faction arcs. Thanks for whoever recommended Simeon. I've run around with...

    Starfield - Fallout fallout that isn't ES6

After about an hour in NG+, I changed things up a bit. Doing the UC story now, and it's great. It just keeps going. I'm at least 35-40 hours into the game, and I can see this being easily 100+ hours of story content. I haven't shut myself in and played a video game like this in a couple...

    Starfield - Fallout fallout that isn't ES6

So I had a few days off after vacation last week, and went straight through the main story into NG+. Basically, if you like the Bethesda formula you'll have fun, if you don't, then you should probably skip it. I've started NG+ to do side quests, build outposts and do everything else in the game...

Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster Series

FF3 finished. I think I like it the least of the first 3. It took a while because BG3 and FF16 are taking up the majority of my gaming time. Onward to FF4 on the Switch.

    Miniature Painting

If I didn't enjoy the assembly and paint aspect, I don't think I would be into the tabletop at all. But, I get why people who are more into the game aspect would pay for commissions. Its very time consuming, especially when I only have 20 minutes to an hour per day for it. I did my first...

    Warhammer 40k

The game was fun and i learned a lot. This is the the second time I've played my 1k sons, and I only started building them recently for this game. I have the paint scheme picked and 1 of each type painted, so I just need to finish the rest.

I wish I was better at timing things like parry and dodge counters, but I usually just settle for trying to be patient. Looking the abilities, there are a bunch of things I usually end up triggering by accident when trying not to get hit.

    Final Fantasy 16

A few comments now that I've played for an hour or two. The English dubs don't bother me, I also watch dubbed anime if it's available, so your mileage may vary. I don't notice the motion blur or any performance issues. It might be because my tv supports "120hz"(whatever that means for tvs)...

Couldn't wait until I finished d4 to start. Love it so far. My only hangup is I haven't used a playstation controller since the ps2, but I'm getting hang of it.

    Final Fantasy 16

Polygon is selling me on the game. Very inclusive of the developers to add a retard mode for journalists. Hmm, maybe I'll pickup a ps5. I've got 2 generations of exclusives to catch up on anyway.

    Warhammer 40k

I'm sitting in online queue while studying for a cert exam tomorrow morning. If I get one, @Regime will get the 'nids and the space marines will flesh out my ultramarine army. If not, not big deal. I was sitting at a computer studying today anyway.

FF2 down and FF3 started, where all the early FF games developed by the same team? The FF2 spell/skill systems being very different is interesting.

    Warhammer 40k

His idea about Warhammer giving away physical and digital world intro magazines would be great. I'm reading through the lore in the core book, and just simplified versions of that would help people get a foothold into the lore.

I've been doing some more searching, aquarium base materials might be a cheaper source for some things. As soon as you put a Warhammer/modeling label on some things, the price gets a 10x markup. But, I don't mind paying for a few things if I think they'll work for me.

Anyone have a recommendation for base materials? Conventional or not. The two I've come across so far are: Army painter seems to have some decent stuff, but looks like it can get expensive. I ran along this site that maybe has similar prices and a decent variety in one spot. Geek Gaming USA

    Lord of the Rings Online

I've not played a new character in 4-5 years, but it didn't used to work that way. That must have been something that's changed in the last few years to speed up leveling. Higher level combat doesn't work that way, unless there have been major changes in the last few months.

I think I've only been collecting maybe 4-5 months and I already have a pile of stuff to assemble and paint. How long it's going to take is starting to sink in. I'm looking forward to it, but I do need to stop picking things up until I get some models done. And find the time to play.

    Star Trek: Picard

I should thank Wil Wheaton. Star Trek Online putting his ugly mug on the current cover art got me to finally uninstall the game permanently. Part of me hopes Picard S3 is good, and part of me doesn't. On one hand, It would be sad if Patrick Stewart's last days in a Trek TV show was him crapping...
