Yeah, I avoided necro last build after ~lvl 5 because it was obviously overtuned and I didn’t want to spoil myself. Druid still feels shitty in difficulty 1, but my necro has been breezing in difficulty 2.

So, it still won't let you split the tactical squad to two 5 mans? and if you're feeling lazy/rushed on the painting, you could drop either 5 assault or 5 tacticals for a character - like a librarian or apothecary.

Not sure how you are doing rules for your first game, but if there is no limit on number of units it would probably be better to split those troop squads into 2, especially if you want to take take 2 flamers with the tactical marines.

Tactical squads can have 1 flamer in a 5 man squad. I would have suggested making one into a devastator squad, but alas they can't use flamers for some reason.
