There are a bunch of traps in that area... but it leads to black cove, which was cool as hell ( slight throwback to WoW imo the early pirate dungeon )... its worth prodding on, up your perception.

Yep... it feels sandboxy in the city at the start, then it gets very bleh... I am level 12 and hit a wall although through say level 10 it was a really great experience.. I choose a break and back to skyrim. Will revisit this.

Its funny, took a swing back on Emerald Dream for a bit and after all these industry failed attempts at re-creating the experience, WoW vanilla just nails immersion in the first 15 minutes. I started a Night Elf and you immediately feel the environment take you away... the music is a big part...

I am well over 500 hours and never finished the main quest. Did not do warriors guild or bards college either lol. I am 1/2 dragon borne line and 3/4 of main quest line.

My PC pegs this game but it still runs like shit. I have had several overheats with this game. Similar %s as far as utilization as other games but 15+ degrees higher... I can't make sense of it.

definitely enjoyed my time in vanguard really great classes and dungeons with a great huge world and great grp play.. despite all its technical failings, i played the shit out of it.

I did not like GW2 or SWTOR all that much ( the latter I did play a bit ) so that is a tough reference for me but I ask you if even in those 50 hours, do you think they were on par with 50 hours of vanilla wow gameplay ?
