    Seafall (No spoilers?)

I haven't looked at the files specifically but you pretty much have to stick with the same group. There are up to 5 'houses' competing in the game so a new player would need to use an unused one if you started with less than 5 or take over one from a player who left

    Seafall (No spoilers?)

Just played third game tonight. Still really enjoying it but it is slowing down a bit. We do have a couple of AP prone people but there's a lot more stuff going on now. Catchup mechanic seems to be pretty well done. I keep second guessing what I should have upgraded.

Figured we could have a thread for Kickstarters. Here's the latest one I'm interested in: Seems to be a hidden role game, aka resistance, set in the world of Euphoria. Haven't played the original game it's based on so not sure how good its mechanics are, but I love resistance and own...

The only advantage to voting her out now was so she's not on the jury. Given her reaction, she's not the sort to pay respect to being well played and will hold a grudge against anyone who votes her out.

    Seafall (No spoilers?)

Latest legacy game, described by its designer as a cross between Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones. I was really looking forward to this game for ages but the early reviews turned me and my gaming group off it a bit. I found myself in another group to play it though and so far I'm...

I was pretty surprised by the team we put out given how much Klopp said he was committed to the league cup and we had a near full strength team last round. Great to get the win though with that side.

    Civilization VI

It has the same core issue as Civ for me, which is that it just feels sluggish. It takes ages to do anything. build anything, create an army, move it anywhere. I spent most of the time just clicking next turn. Keep in mind I played Civ4 almost exclusively in marathon speed, so it's not like I'm...

Not really liking it. Feels pretty much like a sequel to Civ V so fans of that one should be happy but doesn't do it for me.

Finally got around to finishing it off. Not really surprised when John did the switch a roo but still felt like a punch to the feels. Shame it's all over since it was one of the better and more thought provoking shows out there.

    Frequency

I quite enjoyed the movie though it was just weird enough to get too much mainstream attention. Not sure it needed to be made into a tv series but the pilot was decent enough. Feels like it might be more like the butterfly effect depending how they do every episode.

    Star Trek Beyond (2016)

Watched it today, it's pretty shit and mindless. Was pretty bored for the most part. Most of the plot holes and issues have already been discussed. I did find it funny to see in the credits that Jeff Bezos played a Starfleet Official. If I can be bothered I might go and look for the scene.

I'm pretty relieved to get that win. Swansea played really well in the first half and don't deserve to be where they are in the table. Liverpool's 2nd half was far better though I still wasn't confident even after the 2nd goal went in. Also, not sure Karius is much of an upgrade over Mignolet...

Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the late reply. Kinda forgot about it in the shift from the old board! Designated Survivor

Kiefer Sutherland's new show. Interesting premise, though is sounds like it should be a comedy or sitcom rather than a drama. Feels like it will follow the 24 path, hunting down the terrorists etc, without the time gimmick.

    Star Trek Ascendency

This game looks really cool, like a 4x set within the Star Trek universe. Only issue I have is that it's only 3 players at launch which limits it a lot imo. It also appears to be quite pricey. But definitely something I'd love to play sometime.

I have a feeling we might regret selling Ibe. 15m is a decent price for a young player who still needs some development, but seems like he'd be great to have in the squad.
