This is definitely true for me. I can't tell you how many times I've watched a movie in the evenings while sipping on bourbon and gotten a little carried away and then when the movie is over it's time to drunkenly cook whatever is in my refrigerator or even bake cookies and eat the whole batch...

    Six Feet Under

It definitely doesn't keep up the quality from the first couple seasons, but it never gets too terrible and it ends well. When it comes to Michael C. Hall shows, they both went downhill, but 6 feet under never got close to as bad as Dexter in the late seasons.

I would definitely let the power company take care of it if they're willing to. The tree will probably live but it will be years before it has a nice shape again if it ever does. That said, it might be a prime spot for a tree house if you were to have children.

    Homesteading and Hobby Farm/Ranch

This is good advice, and not only for the benefits, but for the possible drawbacks if you get off on the wrong foot. In a tight-knit community you're either part of it or you're not, and it could be the difference between 15 neighbors showing up to put out a fire on your land while you're not...

    Men's Bar Soap for Showering

I notice one of the bars in that Grandpa's soap assortment is buttermilk. The idea of washing yourself with buttermilk is just appalling to me. Maybe "rancid bacon grease" will be their next variety.

The important question is, if you see something you like in the pgt, can you put on some porn and rub one out quick? If that is frowned upon, that's a definite downside compared to working from home.

Who is America starring Sacha Baron Cohen

I have a hard time believing that people are sitting that close to him and don't see the see through the makeup. He kind of looks like he's made of play-doh even on TV. I loved Ali G and Borat but I'm not laughing much at this so far.

Yeah, with no sugar it's not going to form a crust like real BBQ sauce. It will be interesting to see what happens but I wouldn't expect a good outcome. FWIW, you can also do ribs in the pressure cooker and finish under the broiler with very good results and way less time.

I should have taken a picture when it was still on the tractor but.. I'm not sure if it was flat or a while or what but I was baling hay this morning and suddenly noticed the front tire looked like this. Sucks because the tire shop can't get it in until morning so by the time I get it back...

I think you could take any phone or tablet to a phone repair place and have the cameras removed. Most of that stuff is modular and just has to be unplugged. You can probably even do it yourself and fill the holes with epoxy or something.

If you can read the menu or talk to anyone you aren't getting the real dim sum experience. You just go in there, point at things that look like they aren't innards, and hope they aren't ripping you off too much when the check comes. The worst thing I ever did in SF Chinatown was go into a...

    Thinking outside of the Box

I don't think that trying to change your personality is going to be that productive. Creatives are celebrated in business because creatives start companies, but business also really needs people that are conscientious which creative types tend not to be. It's the Steve Jobs vs. Tim Cook...

Do you know that you should wet your hand and net before you touch the fish if you're going to release it? Otherwise you can wipe off their protective slime and makes them susceptible to disease. Some people even say don't use a net at all if you don't have to if you're going to release the fish.

First episode seems promising. They did a nice job of introducing the town and Amy Adams character and I imagine the plot will get going now that the second girl's body has been found. I recently watched Adams in the movie "Nocturnal Animals" and the vibe is sort of similar.

IS HBO gonna get shafted by AT&T?

The first episode of Sharp Objects seemed kind of promising, but I'm a fan of Amy Adams. I sort of agree on Succession, don't care who wins, the world would be a better place if all those helicopters crashed in the first episode.
