I'll comment. Whatever you think about the behavior of pits, it's inhumane to breed dogs with muzzles that short. Poor fuckers can barely breathe. Unrelated:

My agent had an online portal set up for my price/geographic/structure criteria. There was a one-day aggregation period on what was published through the portal, which is a material difference in this asinine market.

Even worse than this, when I was shopping earlier this year I was finding listings on Zillow/Redfin a day or so before they popped in my agent's system.

I've seen this happen, yes. Also, save windows will take nearly 60 seconds to pop up if they're referencing a folder location that is on a detached network drive. Win 11 could use a little more polish when it comes to opening connections. Otherwise, no complaints beyond losing the vertical...

I can't fucking wait. Realtors shouldn't exist, but they're so embedded on both sides of the transaction that it's hard to manage without one. It's changing, but slooooowly.

There's tons of research into obesity and sleep deprivation. Just imagine removing all those negative effects. Cumulatively, it might be the very best thing we could do as a society.

It's a few days later because work interrupted me. Got all the data copied in ~12 hours, though one of my old drives indeed failed during the process. Swapped the new drives into the old NAS, imported the pool, relinked my mount points, and everything seems good to go, beyond a brief moment of...

My situation was a little weird. I had a labrum that was intact, but almost fully detached as a result of years of falling in martial arts. I had an isolated, small patch of full-depth arthritis with exposed bone in the acetabulum but we caught it early so no osteyphytes, for all that it hurt so...

Sure, but given his age and specifics of complaint it seems like it was a good guess. As far as location, I felt mine distinctly located in the front of the hip, right in the joint, rather than the groin. Obviously the MRI is more defnitive than internet doctoring. Edit: Derp, different guy. My...

Have you seen an orthopedist? There are things you can do to stave off arthritis, depending on the cause. At 35 I had hip pain so bad I couldn't sleep and had surgery to repair the labrum, reshape the femur, and reduce bone spurs. The rehab sucked balls for 6 months, but eight years later...

That's just not realistic. With narrow skill gaps it's not always possible to finish an opponent in a short amount of time. Half the matches would be draws, which IMO is worse than decisions. (There should be more draws for sure, though. No one deserved to win Rose/Esparza.)

At least modern ACL surgery is very reliable with near-100% odds of full recovery. Bad meniscus damage can leave you semi-permanently impaired.

When I was about 13 I had a weird lesion on my shin that wouldn't heal properly for months, maybe the size of a dime, and it itched ferociously. I ended up picking the scab off with a knife because I got so sick of it and found something hard inside. I grabbed it with tweezers and pulled, and it...

Got the spare system running TrueNAS, new drives plugged in, replication task copying my datasets from the original server. Fingers crossed that I don't hit a drive failure or something. NAS

I'd only be hooking up the extra drives for as long as it takes to set up the pool and copy my current NAS contents. After that it's going back into service as a gaming box for my kids. It's a GIGABYTE GA-Z170-HD3P, though.

Interesting thoughts. Apparently my spare gaming PC has six SATA ports. I'm short cables, but I can order some and try booting truenas there. Am I likely to get into any trouble with this stopgap system not having EEC RAM and all that? Small price to pay. I actually just had to do all that...

You still have to do thousands and thousands of runs if you want to ever see best in slot gear as solo self found. I have an embarrassing amount of time spent in this game over the years and I've only ever had one or two high runes drop despite farming all the right spots ad nauseam.
