What are they talking about? $500 for a game console seems like a no brainer when people are paying $1400 for phones. (iPhone Pro Max 512gb $1449.00)
Especially with the aging gaming crowd with increasing disposable income... Not unlike a forum that I frequent...
There was a time when I was the same way that I think many of you are currently. The state of the game doesn't matter so much as the newness, the excitement of release, the unknown things. The overpowered builds, the missing decimal point that lets you just demolish content. Some seek that out...
Good news! You can buy the Warlords of New York expansion. It comes with an item that bumps you to level 30. That way you can start right at the previous end game and roll into the expansion. Division 2 Warlords of New York | Ubisoft Store
I guess this is the benefit of using high res textures to create environments. Slap Division 1's environment into Division 2. Need that "slap the roof" meme going for this one. Definitely Division 3, if there is one.
Got a quote back from a big moving company. Full box/pack, 17,000 lbs, 2,000 miles, $15,800. $102k insurance on the trip. That‘s about what I expected. I’ll get the price if I box and see if there’s much difference.
That's a 2008, the first year of the 200 series. I have a mild lift and a bit undersized tires now. I have everything ready to go to swap over to smaller wheels with more tire, but instead of spending $2k on tires I'm going to use it for my move. These tires will have to last until I'm settled...
Picking it up from the fabricator this weekend! Finally got a front bumper to go with the rear. A few skid plates and I'm pretty much done modding it. Edit: I'm going to use a paint pen to color the parking sensors black!
I love this game but I hate how they consistently segment the (small) player base on PS4. I actually uninstalled it the other day because of disappointment. I've had Vermintide 1 or 2 installed as long as they have been available on that platform.
I tried to play some last night on PS4 but a 38GB update put an end to those plans. It's not the download that takes so long, it's the diff that happens once you have it downloaded. The diff takes like 5x longer than the download...
Thanks, I did get a quote from Penske. It's actually more expensive than uhaul, but I'll take the truck quality into consideration. I didn't get a quote from Reno to AR, as I'm sure that's cheaper, but I may do that when the time comes.
Originally I planned to fly out over spring break to take...
A few people have said the same thing and a few others are on the other side. My wife and I have been together roughly 18 years, married almost 10. We have went through 3 cycles of buying and getting rid of things. The first cycle is you get anything clean that you can get your hands on, fix it...
Thanks. Fun with numbers. I'm about 2h15m from Reno.
UHaul numbers... I'm looking at both a truck and a trailer, but I'm looking at both because I'm considering taking a trailer load of items out over spring break and putting them in storage.
One way trailer from CA to AR: $1,050. Reno: $924...
I'm more worried about the logistics of the move than finding a place. I'm keeping my remote work jobs so there is no salary hit at all. It's just straight California costs of living to Arkansas costs of living. I'm trying to estimate the move cost, but I think I'll have to call a few companies...
Yep, all over it. Realtor seems to be the one that's used the most in the area I'm looking at, but I also have daily Zillow alerts. The amount of new construction is incredible, so that dominates the report.
I'm planning my move out of California. I'm going to northwest Arkansas. Has anyone used the big moving companies? I have a family of 5 and a lot of shit to move. We're talking a semi truck or possibly two of the largest u-hauls. It's funny if you put the destination in the uhaul calculator...
The best way I have found to get to aiming and shooting on a console are GTA games. Fire up GTA5 on PS4 and you should be at least comfortable with it by the end. It has just the right amount of auto aim where you can play the game without being too penalized for being retarded.
I started playing Firewall Zero Hour again and it’s still great. Not sure why I stopped. The community is mostly older guys so there’s lots of good conversation while playing. Adding 3 people to my friends list per night now.
Does the top pop off? What design is underneath? This may be specific to aim controllers, but they have normal size things. I THINK they may be proprietary to aim controllers though. Here's what the connector on the bottom looks like...
I get a new DS4 each black friday, 3 years in a row now. I also have a fancy aimcontrollers one with paddles that I get a ton of mileage out of. Unfortunately the right stick is starting to drift...
That's a pretty stupid metric unless BL2 and BL3 use the exact same features for multiplayer. I doubt they have the same features, calling the same APIs, with the same payloads.
As far as bugs go, the game was blue screening on PS4 with the patch yesterday. I tried loading in about 5 times and gave up. Looking at the forums today, apparently the problem was with 4k resolution and if I would have thought to set my PS4 to 1080p the game should have worked. The devs were...
The resolution is pretty low. It doesn't look great - even the text is subpar, like a Korean MMO from < 2005 with those odd fonts. The experience is good despite the resolution - it should be able to be improved with a texture patch, Skyrim style. I wouldn't wait for that - see if you can handle...
I'm having a lot of fun with this in VR. I never got into it before. I still don't like the lack of inventory space and having to find fuel to launch the ship more than a handful of times, but the VR stuff makes up for it at the moment.
WOW the Nintendo transfer process is bad. This is a game system for kids, right? If you have kids, or multiple users, like I do, before you do the trade in MAKE SURE you have a unique Nintendo account for every single user.
To transfer from one system to another you MUST have a Nintendo...
I saw the login queue on PS4 and put this game on hold until that stuff is straightened out. The number of times you wait for 10 minutes to do a solo run should be 2. One additional attempt beyond the first to see if it's a fluke. There are so many other things to do than try to play this...
I have been remote for about a decade. I started in the office and negotiated a few WFH days a week after 6 months. Eventually went to full time remote after I moved out of the area.
I actually have two jobs, both remote. My only scheduled hours during the day are 8am-2pm with a break for...
