I play at 1080 and I have a AMD 5850 in that computer(yeah I know, but it still works). I have another computer with a 3rd gen i5 (i5 3870?) and an AMD 280X gpu. Its my kids that play on them, shit like GTA5 and other steam games.

But is it a bottleneck? Because thats the true question here. Anything I play on it recently seems not even maxing out the core(s). Also the 30% boost, would it be just better to buy a 970 for like a 100% boost from my 5850?
