Marriage and the Power of Divorce

Sorry, man. Your credibility is thin here. I'm sure you're sick of hearing it, but you can't talk about the kind of parent you'd be until you have kids. Yup, have all the ideals you'd like. Then have kids. I'm not even saying you're wrong on any of this talk about debt and finances. But "I'd be...

You're a saint for having that party. Let your jimmies be soothed by your awesomeness. Honestly, who the fuck teaches their kids to pick up pizza by the tip? Fucking barbarians.

What amount would you need to be "done" with a regular job

Also a good question. I'm going to keep doing what I love doing until I have something better to do. Edit: I would like to spend a lot more time doing wood working. I think I could do that as a side job and sell the things I make.

What amount would you need to be "done" with a regular job

We're done with mortgage, and we have enough put away for each of our kids' education. We could likely live off our investments indefinitely, but we love to travel a lot. I'm still pulling in income from a side business, and my wife still works about half time. I'm 45, and I anticipate...

I think you're literally Hitler. Not for any good reason, but because my precious special snowflake status allows me to make my feelings more relevant than anything else.

I know some antivaxers. This one couple in particular are fucking brilliant. They believe in "non-schooling." I don't remember the official term, but they don't send their kids to school, but provide "rich environments full of learning." Their ten year old can't really read. And they are self...

Going to a superbowl party tomorrow. Shrug. I didn't even know who was in it for sure because I don't follow the NFL at all. Someone asked me to bring the same ribs I brought last time they hosted, which was, I think, five years ago. So, Gordon Ramsay sticky ribs it is. They're really good.

Can someone explain why Anderson wasn't in net for Toronto tonight? I mean, they squeaked out a win, but why put in your second stringer against the Penguins? Toronto moved the puck really well in the offensive zone. Fun to watch that first line.

Yeah, you're right. It baffles me that it's cheaper to buy produce that has been grown, harvested, chopped, frozen, and then sold. WTF is wrong with us?

While you are correct that if all you are looking for is price, the taste difference between fresh, canned and frozen is huge. If you can find a way to eat both fresh AND cheaply, that'd be fantastic. Some of us are hoping for that.
