21 a year is insane money for a Defensive lineman.

Especially a defensive TACKLE.

If he gets franchise tagged just once playing chicken, he loses more than he gains. The Rams have extra money right now they can afford to spend. If they save money by franchising him they lose flexibility and the ability to keep their team together going into the future.

Getting paid now is win-win. Waiting until later is lose-lose.

Donald is a monster but he can go fuck himself for 20 million a year if I were a Rams fan.

Richard Sherman is already growing on me. He answered some media questions yesterday and mentioned how he and Jimmy G were looking at different defenses, talking about matchups, talking about the type of girls he likes to bring on dates.

LMAO. He was serious too, Haha Sherman dont give a FUCK.

I think he's worth $20M a year. 25 gets into crazy territory. If they offered him $21M a year for 4 years, I'd say that's a pretty fair offer.

Man, how much better a player is Aaron Donald at 27 over Kevin Love at 29? I realize there are far fewer basketball players, but it just sucks that true generational talents have to be dicked around like this because you can't spend too much of your cap on a d-lineman.

I've watched the Rams let Eric Dickerson go (trade), Jerome Bettis, Kevin Greene, London Fletcher...just ugh.

This guy is a sure fire hall of famer if he doesn't get injured, please figure this out. sigh

Don't forget football has 16 games a year and 4 potential playoff games whereas basketball plays 82 and then another potential 28 playoff games, and baseball plays like 4000 games a year. To expect contracts to be the same across sports seems kind of silly to me.

List of attendance figures at domestic professional sports leagues - Wikipedia

Lot of factors at work. Much bigger stadiums in NFL versus NBA, as the above link shows, even with all the extra games NBA only about 4.2 million more in total attendance. I found figures from 2016 (I know, 2 years ago) that showed the average price had an NFL ticket at about $92 and change versus only $55 and change for an NBA ticket. NFL clearly grossing more from ticket sales than NBA is even with the extra games due to ticket prices and stadium size. If you look at the Forbes 50 most valuable franchise list, 28 of 32 NFL teams make the list, while only 8 NBA teams do.

Of course, you have to note that even while Rams salary cap is close to $200M this season, that's split among 50+ players, whereas the Cavaliers despite only having about a $110M salary cap are only splitting that among ~12-15 guys. That's the main reason NBA players have the highest average salary among the major sports.

As The Offseason Draws to a Close, let us pause and reflect on what potential our favorite teams have acquired for this upcoming Season of the NFL...

GO PATS!
(and niners due to Jimmy G. being a pat previously!)

Unless Brady is really washed up, Pats are the easy favorites to win the AFC again. Their only reasonable threat are the Jags and Steelers. The Jags are set for a sophomore slump, but are looking interesting long term. The Steelers just cannot win against the Pats, ever, especially on the road.

I like Peterson as a coach, but I am wary on saying the Eagles will repeat because they did some weird shit with their offseason. Vikes revolving door at QB and humiliating end of last season will keep them out. Packers still have McFatass at coach and are trying to get a new Defense going, plus Rodgers is starting to show some glass jaw lately, so I fully expect them to squeak to a division win and another humiliation in the NFC championship game. San Fran will Cinderella this year, if the off field distractions don't fuck them over. I don't get the Saints being rated so highly, but I guess unless the Panthers catch fire they likely repeat in that division. So for me the NFC is wide open, but its probably coming down to the Eagles, Packers, Vikes, and San Fran being the likely contenders for the championship game.

In that sort of scenario, the Eagles have the best shot, but if the Packer D actually wakes the fuck up this year and Rodgers can avoid getting a new bone broken so he can wear his Danica beard while handing with the Jonas Bros all season, they MIGHT be able to overcome McCarthy's retardation (Philbin at OC is actual improvement). I do think there is a decent chance that San Fran might just catch fire this year, though, and that division is ripe for them to rack up some easy wins. Vikes will have to somehow magically make a year one QB in their system work, which they have a shit track record of doing for more than four or five games. They also do not match up well against the other likely NFC contenders.

The SB I would love is Packers vs Jags, but the one I think will happen is Eagles vs Pats, with a closer game but Pats still losing.

How can you faggots be mad that Jimmy G is ploughing a porn star?

She does porn, so the fuck what? 90% of the world porn comes out of San Fernando valley, living in the vicinity means you might meet an adult film-star.

As long as he is strapping up, I dont see the problem. She is most definitely a monster in the bedroom, and if he is satisfying that vapid thot, he is doing something right. Thats alpha male shit right there bruh, yall a bunch of nancy boy haters, probably smoking your own dick right now. Whoever hates on a man for fucking a pornstar is a muppet.

Guy never lost a start, will make 38 million dollars this year, and is running around town out here with pornstars. How the fuck can you hate on that?
I know who she is too, I don’t think she does studio films anymore. She weird, she’s been hoeing on Snapchat but she has a side career as a “positive counselor” if that makes sense
Jimmy G is that dude right now. 7 starts, undefeated, 130 million $ and is ploughing a dusty port star, living that Hollywood/Calabasas life style.

He is fully embracing his new life position. Funny, true story, when I used to work at my last job, one of the QA girls went to a Pat's game and I guess they went to an after party and Jimmy was there,, she then messages him on Instagram or some shit and he fucking RESPONDED.

He never met up with her or anything but she showed me the message. So he has been wild for some time now.
Wild boy garoppolo lol but seriously this shouldn’t be a big deal. A male in his 20 with a few million in his bank account would have the ability to fuck any chick he choose, that my goal lol. Meeting pornstar, video models, or strippers is a part of the course

I'd love to start a Rams dynasty on the broken back of Tom Brady, it'd be a fitting way for his career to end.

Brady gets injured allowing for a Steelers vs Alex Smith Super Bowl. Alex Smith wins. I become so obnoxious I get banned from the thread 3 months into the offseason.

Smith goes for 400+ yards passing, 100+ yards rushing, and 100+ receiving yards on two trick plays. Seven total touchdowns. NFL shuts down permanently in honor of his performance.

whenever brady finally gets washed up, I sincerely hope he tries to hang on for 2 or 4 more years. Unfortunately, I'm almost positive he's too smart to do that.

You guys are all crazy. It's clearly the Dolphins season to shine since they got rid of their best receiver, a pro bowl DT, and their one decent interior offensive lineman.
