For him, I'm thinking it would be more because of his health. Between his elbow, now concussions and a neck thing to go with it. They've been pretty stand offish on saying exactly what is going on with him and the severity

Von Miller out for season with torn ACL

When Von Miller suffered a knee injury on Thanksgiving, his initial diagnosis was that his ACL was intact and he would be able to return at some point in the 2022 season.

Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott announced in his Wednesday press conference that after undergoing an exploratory surgery, Miller was diagnosed with an ACL tear and is out for the season.

Sucks for him and the team. Got it repaired right away tho, so he is on the mend already

Eisen talking about Stafford and it's a spinal cord contusion he is dealing with. Reading a little about that, definitely wouldn't be surprised he is done with football.

you don't fuck around when it comes to your health, especially dealing with spine, neck or brain. Because no one cares if you tough it out for 1 or 2 more seasons and potentially end up disabled as a result. At best you get is getting wheeled out every couple of years for some "special" home game to honor you and everyone goes aaaaw, and that's it. Fuck the team, fuck the owner, fuck the fans. You do what's best for you. He got them a ring, he's more than done his bit.

Yeah - I am not unhappy with how it all went. And people who are saying that Goff is out performing what Stafford was doing forget that Goff relies on not being annihilated behind a shitty O Line.
