Native American group demands Commanders reinstate ‘Redskins’ name
A group called the Native American Guardian’s Association (NAGA) is demanding the Washington Commanders change their name back to the Redskins.

It will go back to the Redskins.
The Navajo Nations use Redskins as their mascot still today. It is what they call their warriors when they go off to fight. They honor it and appreciate it. They helped design the logo for Washington back in 1933, and jointly used it ever since. They were livid when the NFL forced the change , when the NFL said the name and image was racist.

I'd be a little surprised if they went back to Redskins, but for fuck's sake, please after this season get rid of Commanders. Still no clue how people in the room heard that idea and were like "yeah, this is it!". Fucking terrible. I would have preferred they just stuck with Washington Football Team over that.
