Just like most of us, I used to download porn on dialup. It's how I learned to edge.

It was pretty suspenseful watching pictures materialize one line at a time from aol newsgroups. When I got internet fast enough that the whole picture just instantly appeared...I'm not going to lie...something was lost.

just imagine if we were reading fedor posts back then. 5 minutes before you could check for an adam's apple. Another 10 before you might or might not see the base of a dick.

god bless thumbnails. sometimes i look at the pictures i take with my cellphone and am amazed at their sizes. 4 meg picture? i remember when a 200-350k image took a long ass time to download. i cant even fathom how long a 4 meg image would take on dialup. my PC would probably crash before the image finished.

I found it extremely disappointing.

No real chances taken, easy does it clean up finish.

Still....top 25 show for me.

I loved everything about the series finale. Talk about flexing your writing chops. When he corrects the judge with his name, I choked up. Yeah, it wasn't a happy ending, but it was a very satisfying and (imo) perfect ending.

7 years (3.5 with good behavior) to 86 years, goddamn. I get it though, better to be forever in hell and be able to look Kim in the eyes than run for the rest of your life from the one prison you can't escape from, your guilty conscience.

fantastic finale, while I haven't been a huge fan of the black and white or long "is there really a point to this" scenes that was a massive writers flex, just throwing the book down at Hollywood and saying "do better" and showing what the medium can really do.

For me Fun and Games - Lalo dies, Kim escapes - is "my" season finale that wraps up the stuff I like, but I really did love Saul Gone. Amazing cameos too. Marie in black and white is SMOKIN

Good ending to a great show. Will I ever rewatch it? No. It was just to slow of a burn. But the final season was incredible.

Looking forward to watching what Gilligan does next.

I thought the finale ended badly. Of course you could see the writing on the wall, they went hard into the paint of these are not good people so you knew what was coming. A better ending would be him not being such a shitbag only caring about money but still pulling off an epic Better Call Saul court case to save them both. Instead
he throws his entire life away to signal to Kim he's a changed man? But it doesn't matter, he got 36 years and his life is over anyway. Oh and she's still fucked in civil court anyway due to her signing an affidavit, good job, they are bad people and they got karma.
Meh, anti-climatic and lame. Plus showing the last 3 episodes in black and white was shitty too.

Shows like this are strange. They show some of the worst people but because of charisma or whatever, people want them to have a happy ending. Vic Mackey, Walter White, Saul Goodman, etc.

Having them both get off without legal consequences would have really undermined their characters. Kim was burdened by guilt and any attempt to obfuscate the truth to avoid consequences would have made her confession entirely pointless and her contrition empty. Saul's weakness wasn't just about money, but about his inability to confront the truth and deal with being hurt. The end had him stop running away from that.

I would have been fine if Saul never did any act of redemption and maybe even threw Kim under the bus like they feinted at because it would have shown he truly was always that person like Chuck said he'd be. But to have a redemptive "I'm no longer a shitbag who only cares about money" turn while facing no consequences or seriously misrepresenting the truth would have been super lame.

Kim turning herself in shamed him. He was willing to scam his way out of what he knew he deserved but he wasn't willing to lose Kim's respect. She has been his conscience at various points in the show.

I was good with the ending. One of TVs best characters in a long time. Crazy hard to do as a sub plot to Cranston.

Saul untouchable for life.
