He’s a half breed, there’s a race that is basically the catchall of all the animal-people (birds, fish, etc.) Very heavy on the homoerotic overtones because he’s a send up to the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure style/aesthetic.

I’m the last person to defend league’s new money grubbing obsession with marketable characters, but the blame falls on the clientele, not the company itself. Capitalism going to capitalize. We’re living in a climate where they felt justified introducing a character with a rehashed skill set and look just because they had to hit the Belle Delphine fan market. Sexual degenerates and rabid fandoms are being catered to because these are the hambeasts sitting on their computers all day screaming about inclusion. Blizzard listened too much and rotted from the inside out. We had the same problem with Flight Rising even when it was just a game with nonhumanoid dragons....because people with nothing else better to do get obsessive about their characters.

I genuinely believe we’re headed to a labor crisis because of the sheer number of people being raised to be ‘too anxious to work’ or expecting universal basic income as their ‘human right.’ Ive been gaming since I was a kid and there was always the neck beard quotient, but there are just so many fucking people now who believe it’s perfectly normal to not work, suck off the government tit, and spend their days immersed in empty media consumption and beating off.

For example, there was a team that put together an add-on overlay for role players in Guild Wars 2. I’m in the discord. It’s a great little add-on. But these people literally have nothing better to do but sit in the discord and complain about missing functionalities they think need to added. More more more. Thousands of icons weren’t enough, they had to include every single goddamn one that could be datamined. They complain that the map overlay showing add-on users is offset by a few meters. They make speeches about how relieved they are to see how many lgbt profiles there are, though historically the MMO role play scene has always been the gayest/most fetishized culture out there, to the point where characters with traditional gender aspects/orientation are automatically assumed to be bigoted assholes (I am in this camp.) People get hysterical about a free service that they didn’t have before, and instantly take it for granted. Consumer culture is out of fucking control because these people literally have nothing else to latch onto and focus on.
