Borderlands 2

Anyone else find the game way too easy? the only challenge was the gauntlet area, and even that didn't take much to finish..

You play through True Vault Hunter mode? It's not uber hard, but you can get gibbed pretty easy if you aren't careful.....

If you do TVHM the "right way" not doing quests so you can get level 50 guns out of them later then second playthrough gets pretty hectic, doing "Where Angels Fear to Tread" and everything is 3-4 levels above you. Don't open the fucking hyperion ammo boxes there unless you and an unkillable Mini-Jet Loader following you around the whole way up, one shotting you with rocket fire.

What I want to know is why they didn't implement a way to create guns of your own. The ones in-game are already modular. Make it so you have to salvage the components from guns you find, and then combine them at a slight cost of quality or something. Higher quality weapons coming from higher quality salvage.

Also, the writing is fucking awesome. Anthony Burch needs to write for more games.

They ran out of ACM money and had to ship BL2 as it was.

They're pretty wedded to the idea of RNG. Being able to build your own custom gun negates that, and really there are only a couple BEST gun designs in any category.

Sure, everyone who doesn't remember this isn't an MMO already runs around with a bee/sham and norfleet/infinity/etc anyways, but being able to run around with a custom made would just make that a problem for players with greens and above, rather than for addicts.

I would say I want a Borderlands MMO, but Randy Pitchford might hear me.

TVH is the last mode, and yes its better to hold off on the side quests that give good rewards until you hit level fifty.

I don't think I've ever loved and hated anything in a game as much as I do Caustic Caverns.

I dislike that place too. Fucking threshers.

Builds like this make BL2 a happy exploding place.

Yeah. Except it's a beautifully designed place, which makes me hulkrage.

New playthough "Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode" with level cap raised to 61 and new Pearlescent loot quality coming April 2nd. $5 for the extra levels or FREE if you have the season pass.

The trailer alone there makes me reconsider the season pass.
The new vault hunter looks like it might be fun as well.

They showed the Oprah Winfrey "Bees" .gif as they passed out codes for the new vault hunter to everyone in attendance, was pretty sweet.
