Loved 1, loved the writing in 2, but for some reason all the enemies in 2 felt like bullet sponges. Like "backtrack through the level because you ran out of ammo and hope everything didn't respawn" bad. Was that just me?

Is Burch still there? He's the guy whose wife convinced him to open their marriage right? Only he didn't actually get laid and she was getting plowed by everyone? If he's still writing, there's no hope for this.2.5's story was some try-hard cringy bullshit. The gameplay was innovation where it wasn't needed.
Anthony Burch(lead writer for 1 and 2, and I think he was involved in 2.5) turned into a literal cuck.
Pitchford thinks it's a good idea to put porn on a USB stick.
All signs point to this sucking.
Don't know. But if having to deal with the stress of your wife wanting to openly cheat on you produced the crazy narrative in 1 and 2...that magic is likely gone. Last I remember, he was starting to go a little nuts himself, I remember him pictured in a dress, that sort of stuff. Is Burch still there? Early game could be rough and late game if your build sucked even worse, once you get that setup though everything was just insta gibbed. Gaige being the dumbest OP one out there. Literally fire at the ground to kill everything with auto aiming bullet bounce.
More that he shoehorned the quote in completely randomly and it completely goes against his character.
Faggot.
Yeah I don't think my builds were that terrible. I could be wrong though. Gaige was the Mechromancer? She was pretty cool. I think I lost interest midway through my first playthrough with her(which was my 3rd).
I was way late to the party and got the remaster on PS4 and I stopped playing for this reason. I felt like I was shooting a concrete block with a rubber band gun and it just wasn't fun. The shooting just didn't feel solid, and nothing died to anything less than a full clip of ammo. To this day I know I was playing it wrong, but just didn't know how.
It blows my mind anyone didn't like Borderlands 2, it's probably my favorite shooter of all time and Handsome Jack could be my favorite villain ever.
If it ends up being Epic Exclusive that would be a real bummer, I'd probably end up still getting it though.
He left Gearbox to write for some small video company for a while, and then landed a job with Riot. He may have left Riot recently but I don't think he has any involvement with Gearbox so you won't have to worry about losing your WiiU in BL3.Don't know. No idea where he is now. There's an actor with the same exact name that's making easy googling hard.
I wanted to play borderlands 2 and even tried again within the last month. However, I still get motion sickness when I try and it's the only game to ever do this to me. Wish they had an option to turn off head Bob.
