I mean ... its the casual RR WoW guild. Some people are fine playing suboptimal and never going beyond normal and that is their choice. They shouldn't feel like they need this mythic pressure to perform the tightest possible rotation possible. Now if these people get booted on a more difficult normal fight like Imp and throw a hissy fit then there's an issue.

The Saturday night raid? That is the worst raid time for me I doubt I'll ever be able to make it. Got to give my real life bae some attention after slathering my WoW baes with my affection all week.
The AM raid we all did this weekend you big dummy

I think anything up through Heroic you should be comfortable pulling good DPS. When you break into Mythic that is some min/max shit that I don't blame a lot of people for not wanting (us old dudes). Take some criticism so we can start doing Heroic on saturday mornings and we're all the better. I just got barraged with how shitty of a tank I am, but it made me feel good and I'm going to work on improving.

I can't wait until people bitch when they aren't pulling 22k on H Butcher.

Maybe next Saturday Heroic Kargath will be nice and drop his fist weapon. Although I love the playstyle of sub my itemization would be far, far better for combat at the moment.

So Puddle was telling us he got his two by just joining pugs, rolling for loot on the first boss and then bailing. It's a really simple fight so not a lot of wipe risk.

I'd be comfortable pugging it on normal but not heroic. I need to tighten up my DPS on that fight before I'd be comfortable doing it with randoms.

I think we can get Heroic Karg down for you guys if enough of the sub 18k people put in work and we get their ilvls up a bit & or rotations figured out (you guys already are so that's a plus).

Its nice to see you guys putting in work, asking questions on Saturdays, and in general just being about having fun. Not one person really fucked up or made any mistakes which was a huge improvement over last week. We have a good group of heroic people that come to help also and that is also nice since they've already cleared the content and are doing it just to help. Its crazy, its almost like a normal guild.

I like how last week it took us around 3 hours to get to Koragh. This week we got to him in just over an hour. With people showing up fairly regularly, it's going to be awesome.

Stay at home dad crew!!!

Imp seemed a lot less about a dps race and a lot more about not standing in fucking mines, I swear to god.

Once you guys get past the simple mines and branded (4474 - just remember that) its really only about not fucking up the waves sub 20% which are VERY easy as they do no knockbacks. The biggest issue is people that die at the sub 20% mark and think its ok, really the fight begins at 20% with the first 80% just being an idiot check kind of.

Man. Hitting those two mines Saturday morning had me upset at myself. First time as ranged on that fight. Not a good excuse though. Easy to avoid. Won't happen again.

The fight isn't a DPS race whatsoever. Heroic groups have been running with 6 healers. The worst thing is just the last phase. You spend 10 minutes getting there then have to incorporate a couple new mechanics that both can cause wipes. Most people have the fight up until that point down after getting enough experience to get to P4, but you live maybe 20 seconds in to that phase, react to the force nova completely different than you have on every single attempt prior, die, then have to do it all over again. As a player that really needs to experience something before saying I have completely learned it, it certainly was frustrating to have to spend so much time on the buildup just to see that last phase enough times to be comfortable.

Yeah the first 3 phases is just mechanics and don't fuck up. Don't be fooled though, you do need good dps - the add phase can seriously fuck us up if they aren't taken down quickly, we shouldn't be tanking Imp + 10 small adds + one caster still up. It gets worse on the second add phase with the reaver. The last 20% is just blow everything you got phase, I actually found it easy (two-shotted it), but I've heard others had a tough time.

I'll take any criticism and advice. I'm sure I'm doing plenty wrong and having a shit weapon is barely to blame.
I looked at your Butcher kill quick this morning and I see a few things you could work on.

1. During the non-Execute part of the fight it appears you're using Bladestorm outside of Colossus Smash. Instead, you should be using it on every third Colossus since the cooldowns line up perfectly. This changes once you get to Execute (and on AE fights), but is still important for the rest of the time. Similarly, you can line up Storm Bolt with every third CS as well, using it on the next CS after BS.

2. This will come with practice with the encounters and being able to look at the rest of the raid and guess how long the fight is going to last, but on Butcher you only got to use Recklessness once because you held it until 23 seconds into the fight and the fight only lasted 3:23. If you used it on pull, you would have had it up again during Execute/Timewarp. When in doubt, burn it immediately at the start and hold the second one for Execute. On Tectus through Ko'ragh the second one is a judgement call when it comes off cooldown. Look at the boss hp and decide if the fight is going to last another 3 minutes+ or not. On Imperator you can use it up to 5 times, but it's probably best to make sure that you have it for the Gorian Reaver even if that means only getting to use it 4 times total.

3. The rest is just little things... using Ravager, Storm Bolt, etc. soon after they come off cooldown. Not using Execute unless you have 60+ rage (40+ during CS). Rend uptime, especially on multi-target fights (for example on Twins, you had 44.6% uptime on Phemos and didn't Rend Pol at all). Switch to Dragon Roar instead of Storm Bolt on AE fights. Keep Sweeping Strikes up the entire time there's a flesh-eater at Brackenspore, Twins are near each other, Tectus from the time the first split happens, when Imperator summons the elemental add, etc.

(Just in case anyone who recently came back to WoW is unaware: every class has pandemic now, and DoTs will roll up to 30% of their duration when you reapply them. 18 second DoT? Refresh it with 5 seconds left on the timer and the new one is 23 seconds. You get ~100% uptime and don't waste any resources.)

Hoping more healers sign up, and another tank!! (KRASSUS PLZ)

Also. A few BOEs dropped during our run. People were messaging me asking what to do with them. Since it was personal loot I basically told them they could do whatever they wanted. If they needed the money, just sell it. If they wanted to upgrade some members of the guild then we could roll on it. Poid had some caster gloves drop so everyone rolled but I think a few others chose to keep theirs.

Hope that's cool with everyone, and if not we can change it.

IMO the BoE should go to the person who looted it. That is the definition of personal loot. If we were a bunch of commie fucks we'd run on ML and have the our Great Leader Noodle distribute the loot to us peasants as he sees fit.

That's how I saw it too. Poid was a kind soul and said he didn't need money and wanted to upgrade people's gear.

Not me. I dream of one day having the scratch to hang out with Vitality in the first class lounge in Warspear.

Bro get TSM and buy low/sell high. It's so ridiculously easy. In my first week I made over 30k gold.

I can't login enough to make any gold now, but for a week I was king.
