If there's justice Duke will beat TAMU in the Peach bowl, if the current projections hold. Clemson going to the BCS is a stretch for me now...that Carolina loss was a turnover filled shitfest. UCF at this point would probably be a more entertaining dump trucking for Alabama in the Orange.

So why does FSU get this giant pass for everything.
OSU is going up against a #10 Mich St. for conf title. FSU is going up against DUKE? So if FSU wins that is more of a reason to goto title game than OSU? ( all the while playing a weaker schedule overall )

It's fashionable (and probably true) to say that the Big 10 is a dogshit conference for football right now. The ACC is hardly better, but Florida State wrecked their opponents this season. All of them. One team all year has scored 20 or more on FSU. Ohio State, meanwhile, has a suspect defense and has not dominated their conference schedule at all. It's just how it goes. Perception matters.
I was totally on the Auburn train last night, but after thinking about it some you can't jump OSU if they beat #10 MSU with their legit defense next week. Regardless of what I said above, you have to give an undefeated team the benefit of the doubt at that point. It's not NIU or something.
The conf / SoS matters *IF* a team has identical w/l records. That is, you would have an argument for Auburn to jump OSU if they had the same record. That's where the SoS gives an edge.
You CAN'T use SoS when an AQ'ing team has a better record. Auburn lost. OSU hasn't - in 2 years. If the coaches passed OSU up, then the system would be broken at that point.

Looking at how close the vote totals are in the 2 polls released OSU better hang a buttload on Michigan State and hope Auburn loses.
Don't forget bowl games are "entertainment". Sorry but most football fans are saying they don't think watching OSU lose to X in the title game would be entertaining.

Either way, Ohio State gets embarrassed, and Dumar can disappear for a few more years until Ohio State's schedule is weak enough for them to go undefeated again. I don't see how I lose here.
