Hah, how did I not hear about this? I live 10 minutes away from West Hartford. The whole second home thing makes sense. West Hartford has some very high end upper class neighborhoods. Her parents are probably rolling in it.
Not sure what the problem with this is. She didn't even work at the school anymore and his parents are apparently fine with it. What prude called this one in?

While that's a fine point, I know how school boards work. The fact that he was A student at THE school where she taught put him off limits for her, legal age or not. At least, that's what I'm willing to bet. It's standard practice to have a policy in place for teachers, student teachers, classroom aids, professional specialists, and support staff to say that while you work in the school board, you can'd diddle with any kids in the board.

If i remember the stories right, the chick had gone to that school and was a legend. The best athlete the school ever produced, or something like that. Like al bundy returning to polk high, only at 22 instead of 42. So she was back in her stomping grounds 4 years later. The one thing the stories did mention was that it started when the student asked for her phone number.

The 14-year-old victim told his parents Stephanie Peterson, 26, (also known as Stephanie Ferri) would buy him marijuana and send him nude photos, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office. He also said Peterson would pick him up late at night and bring him home several hours later.
"The parents got wind of it, and they confronted the teacher about breaking off the relationship," Sheriff Mike Chitwood said in an interview with Click Orlando. "We believe sometime in January, they either resumed or continued the relationship. At that point, the family came to the police."
The teen said his grades suffered after their alleged "relationship" started in November, the sheriff's office wrote in a statement. Peterson allegedly told the victim if anyone knew of their encounters, they'd get in trouble.

i just... okay listen, she's hot and when i was 14 banging a hot teacher was a huge fantasy... but i'm an adult now and the last thing i want to do is hang out with a 14 year old... i can't even fathom finding an annoying, self-entitled, immature 14 year old attractive. one of the best things about dating an ADULT is that you don't have to ask their parent's permission to pick them up for dinner.

I know a few kids that might feel guilty enough that they look for SOMETHING to absolve themselves and go through their parents to do it.
Also, it's entirely possible that the parents put 2 and 2 together and talked to their son. That could easily have led to the kid calling out his teacher to get the blame off himself. Kid probably came home smelling like a skunk one too many times.

Yeah these are the ones I don't understand either. I can understand the 22 year old banging the 18 year old and stuff cause they're pretty close in age and most 22 year olds are about as mature as most 18 year olds... 14 and 26 or 30+ and 17 not so much.
Even when I was like 25-28 I couldn't stand most of the 18-23 year old front of house people I worked with/went to the bar with. Very few exceptions.

Mental hospital. Can honestly say 100% with confidence that not a single person in my Junior High was having sex or sexually active.
There were a few women who really truly couldn't control their libidos trying to "date" (this term in 7-8th grade is dopey) and the more they were told no, the more crazy they got. I sort of learned where all that witchcraft and women are witches and women are the Original Sin and Satan incarnate stuff came from. They were riding all us guys hard about casual sex and none of us even had 1 facial hair on us. It was zany insane twilight zone stuff like they were rabid. You wondered in retrospect, is that how society used to be? Fucking animals!
There was like 1 kid who's voice changed, who was in actual legit puberty, who could have taken advantage of the situation, and his unlucky ass got thrown out of the school for unpaid tuition lol.

Quite the opposite for me. By the time I was in the 7th grade everyone was fucking, getting blow jobs or hands jobs at the very least. Not necessarily by teachers, but by older women or girls we attended school with. Females in central CA were quite the whores and to this day I appreciate their service.
