What do you guys think about mass reporting the old site for abuse under the Adsense TOS - they are in clear violation of the no porn rule. Also based on the visitor numbers of there it looks like they have a ton of bot traffic inflating the numbers. At the very least it might force their hand into taking down the old forum.

It's unfortunate that they can't even handle having an actual discussion/debate. I'm going to be really busy for the next 48h so I'll probably have to bow out of that thread until later. I also pretty much assume that their folks are reading this thread and using it to help target people, but I dunno.

Well, at least I got a victory lap out of it.

Goliath's not dead, lol. He's been posting at RR in the Hearthstone thread for the last year or two as Morrow. Apparently he's a pretty elite arena player and was fairly knowledgeable/helpful in the thread most of the time, but a couple people couldn't help instigating shit with him/her. He definitely learned to handle it better than in the old FOH days. Hope he finds this place and the Hearthstone thread.

Adsense don't give a give a shit about porn.

What they give a shit about is 100% bots that click on ads for profit. But usually you can contest that.

unless there's a post from an admin saying "hello please support us by ocassionally clicking on an ad, that is the best way to support the site", then Adsense will shut you down, b/c they do not stand for soliciting.

LMAO. You know for a second there I actually might've believed Craig's plea that they wouldn't change the moderation and leave rerolled alone----if only because it would've been in their best interest to NOT rock the boat until they've recovered their investment.

But now I don't think they could've helped themselves. The news would've come out and their core community would either bitched at the degree of freedom we had or their moderators would've complained that it would just be easier to shut down all the tranny dicks and racism than actually do their jobs.

Are you sure? It's explicitly therein the terms of service that it can't be used with porn - are you saying they don't enforce this?
