Sometimes my wife and I work in the same building and even that feels weird

Yeah, I'm sure it's something most people wouldn't want to put up with, but if you're in a relationship with a committed business owner, then you're basically marrying the business too. If that's not something you're ok with, then it's probably a bad idea. If someone does want to go down that path though, being a part of it and doing anything you can to help make it successful is going to be a lot better than waiting around for 15 minutes per day of attention.
