I used to do physical work. Go for a reall long walk which obviously not available for everyone, like half a day. All kinds of physical stuff around the property so that end of the day I felt tired or done something. I've never been big on gym stuff though I do lift weights at home, or used to.

Even now on good days I get out and walk around as much as I can. Up and down the driveway which is 3/4 of a mile if I go to the road and back (maybe once). It helps with the mind especially on stuff I have zero control over.

I managed a 15min walk around the block the past three days. I don’t know if it helped. Was at least able to cook and make dinner today and ate it all.

Therapist and my parents both brought up potentially moving again. I still don’t like the idea but I’m not sure what I want really matters. I’m not really capable of taking care of myself, so maybe I just do need people to just tell me what to do.
If your parents actively want you there with them, then by all means do it. It will be miles better than being alone. Rent your house out to help get it paid off ASAP. Or just sell it to get out from under the mortgage. Is your job remote?

Yeah, it’s remote. I’d try and rent the house, pretty sure I’d have to write a check right now if I sold it. Parents are taking me around house hunting this weekend while I’m there just to try to give me something to be excited about. And yeah, they’d just have me stay with them while I found something myself eventually. The idea just scares me.

Being with your parents shouldn't scare you. They love you, and having them present in your life would end the loneliness issues for a while. Give it a shot for a couple weeks?

As somebody who lost their mom 2 years ago, spend the time with them. Sure, it isn't awesome living with your parents as an adult, but there is going to come a time in your life where you're thankful you got to spend that extra time with them.

If you get along with them, though, it can be awesome. If they treat you as an equal and an adult you can be a great source of help and comfort for each other.

You'll be fine. Sounds like a good opportunity to level out and de stress. Nice to have a safety net, anyway. Lots of people right now are completely fucked and have zero support.
