Thats a good point I suppose.
Viewing distance is 19" to wacom, 25" to desktop monitor while working.
I move around alot, but I think 30" while gaming.
UHD at 32" is 137ppi, with optimal viewing distance of 25"+
UHD at 40", is 110ppi, with optimal viewing 31"+.
(1920x1200 at 24" is 36"+ optimal. 2560x1440 at 27" is 32"+)
40in would be just too big for my desk honestly. I have a 2 monitor setup. this is not a single 40in screen I am looking for/using.
not me, random search from internet. but basically my setup.
but I would agree, uhd should be 32in at least.
Hard to say if I value resolution or refresh more, since I never had either. haha. Resolution is easier to visualize.
BenQ PD3200U
ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q 27" 2560x1440 IPS 165Hz 4ms G-SYNC
I think the asus is winning. A small resolution increase. large refresh. g-sync. Improvements on all fronts.
UHD would probably be really nice for work, etc.. but I have doubts the 1070 can handle it for gaming.
