Yeah. I’ll readily admit d4 is way better than LE. But it doesn’t hold a candle overall to either Path of Exiles. It’s simply scratching an itch for me in a casual way.

I actually plan to blitz the new campaign in Eternal or whatever it’s called with my paladin there. Then I’m doing a warlock for the seasonal shit so I can just do free play in season
Last Epoch has some cool things in it. The way you can now remove monolith potential rewards through the weaver tree is super cool. Target farming with uniques around the different monoliths is cool.

The main issue for PoE2 for me is there is no infinite scaling. You get your build really humming around 85 and then the game just feels easy. D4 and LE both have that scaling so you can get a challenge if you want.

D4 is cool but the season lasts for me for 2-3 weeks and gets boring. The good news is after this season slows down we should have .5 from PoE2.

I haven't played Barb or Rogue yet so will probably play one of those to avoid being the warlock in a sea of Warlocks.

I know lots of people do play SSF but PoE1/2 having trade is what keeps me more interested in these games. Having the chance to find a rare item to sell for the big bucks is a good carrot for me.

I wish D4 stopped binding stuff to the account and made some kind of economy and trade system. But thats just me.

But in the end I rarely play more than 3 weeks in PoE. I kinda get bored once I'm in maps.

Bought the expac a couple days ago so I could get through the Vessel expac before launch. Hadn't played since vanilla launch. Kinda annoyed that Torment is locked behind Seasonal progress. Played a Thorns Paladin and it's super easy. Not sure if I'll continue on it for the new campaign or make a different class. But the Warlock doesn't look interesting, which is the main issue I had with D4, all the classes sucked.
