thats assuming they will be back for Ahsoka and Loki. people might just wait the showw out until both can be binged in a few days. of course they will be online for free to stream in the usual places as well.

Still only paying $11+$4 for D+ Hulu ESPN+ through Verizon. Also regular ad blockers work on Hulu.

My Hulu+Disney+ is $4.99 a month. Hulu runs the $2 a month for 12 months deal every year( used to be a buck ) and they offered Disney+ for $3 more.
I don't watch either but for $5 if I drop it I have to wait till December to get the deal again.

how much of these drops are those that initially signed up and were yearly, canceled but still have access? I canceled a while ago and I can still log in and watch.

Nah its from D+ India losing Indian Premiere League cricket license. D+ was -300k in US/CAN but +1.1 elsewhere world wide. India was -12.5

while -300k isn't a lot, it should be seen as -1million+. forget if q1 or 2, but they had also lost subs (us/can) and the projection was +1.8m. i can not find was the projection for q3 2023 was.

So they start losing customers because they're producing less shows, the shows are admittedly getting worse, the delay for movies to go from theater to disney+ is back to being very long after making it 45 days or so.

So what do they do...increase the subscription. Yeah, makes total sense, I'll pay more for less.

Chapek was just doing what he was told, likely by Iger. when Iger came back , he did everything Chapek was planning to do. when Iger came back they hailed him as a hero, now that they see he is really the guy pulling the strings, people want to burn his house down.
