I just got a confirmation about F&F beta... So early bird...You know what's happened , the beta signup wasn't supposed to go live and those who got in before they closed it now will now be flagged to "absolutely not let these freaks camping our site into the beta" .............
(and I'm just aggravated I missed it)
Might not be a popular opinion , but I'd honestly not have any issue with them selling beta access from the start. As in still having random signups getting in periodically , but pay X and you get in guaranteed on this date/phase. Possibly even tiers to get in from the very beginning and scaled from there.
I see Greenlight games on Steam doing it and some kickstarters , don't really see a problem with SOE doing it for this.

I'd prefer that over only people at SoE Live getting beta access which is what I'm afraid will happen.
Of course it also would provide endless amusement on the beta forums for the "I paid for this shit and its not working right , fix it now" threads.
Yeah, the $40 PS2 bundle was pretty good. I'll do the same with EQN if it's available.

Not just that, But the more expensive Pre Order packs with more station cash, as well as pre order items would bet would get in early as well as maybe a Launch head start ex amount of days ahead.
Guessing they would have regular version, some type of deluxe then some type of collectors.

This might be something I actually order the physical box from Amazon on if they have the usual preorder/release day delivery with Prime etc.
Didn't keep any of my old PC game boxes , but do wish had kept the original EQ one. Back when they were those large boxes on the shelves. (I remember I think the D2 collector box was a huge one ).
