The 14 days post is obvious astroturfing for WoW after Furor likely knew he had a job offer at Blizzard, go read it again with hindsight in mind… “blah blah wah this will become the biggest WoW fan site on the internet…” then literally 5 days later Furor posts about how awesome WoW is when he visited the studio

So aa wise, its like tss-ish at classic? Is that correct? If we assume kunark, velious, etc, each have to add a couple future expacs worth of aas to keep up the momentum, how many expacs until theyve reached live aas and have nothing more?

I have this thought in the back of my head that the whole legends idea would actually be fantastic in the sof+ eras with really cool side content... but is there even a reasonable possibility of it making it there? Not just they'll give up or scrap it or it'll be a dead server, CAN they maintain with the current design?

It's not that people care so little about their money, it's just very difficult to get worked up over so little money.

Shit, taking my wife out to one movie and getting popcorn and a drink is roughly equivalent to the price of the game and a 4 or 5 months of play.

I'll get way, way more out of my money this way than I would with a 2 hour movie.

Well then shit, everyone should stop complaining about $15 to unlock a race or class. I mean, it's not even that much money, right? Yeah, now you're in it for a $20 box price, $15 a month, and you've spent $400 on MTX, but you spend more than that on groceries a month, so it's a good value.

Personally, I play a Troll so I can best represent my RL self in game. I assume all elves, erudites, and women are doing the same

If you can handle the visual, Ogre is the best early on for the stun immunity and superior melee stats. Late into the game when you can afford the 34 AA for 360 melee stun immunity, then you can swap to whichever race you think is prettiest, or if you want to stay on the meta train you swap to Iksar, the only other race with meaningful racial bonuses.

To deal with ugly fat ogre, you can get a shrink clickly from Blackburrow as early as level 10 or so, but the clicky requires at least level 15 to actually cast. Shamans also teach you ritual shrink if you level one to 15, but rituals eat your resources on use, so just get the free clicky.

Around level 25'ish you can get the dark elf illusion clicky from lower guk. At level 46+ you can get the skeleton illusion clicky from plane of fear.

There's also enchanter, druid, ranger, necro, and magician who have class illusions to hide your ugly ogre face.
