Fantasy Football: 2015 Advice Thread

Brees or Dalton for week 5.

I'm playing Brees at the moment because Dalton plays Seattle where as Brees plays Eagles. But man, Dalton I've played the past 3 of 4 week so far and has put up better numbers than Brees, but against Seattle, I just don't know. :\

I am really pulling for the Bengals, but I would have a hard time putting Dalton in against that defense. The good news is they are home, so that should bode well for Dalton. Safe bet would probably be Brees, but it isn't like he has exactly been lighting the world on fire so far this season.

So in the end, I have no idea what to tell you other than I never bet against Seattle's defense. That team as a whole may have issues, but the defense is stout.

I would have a hard time starting Dalton over Brees this week. I hope Dalton is a boss though and he just picks on Sherman all day. I am really looking forward to this game. It's probably the best one in the early time slot.

So I'm in a 10-man .5 PPR league:

QB - Aaron Rodgers
RB - Jamaal Charles
RB - Karlos Williams
WR - AJ Green
WR - Hopkins
TE - Eifert
Flex - OBJ

Bench - Yeldon, Hankerson, David Johnson, Rawls, ASJ.

Wondering if I should try to get a stud RB or hope Yeldon pans out. Looks like Karlos has been concussed and McCoy should be back soon.

I had 3rd pick, snake draft. It went Charles, Green, Rodgers, Hopkins, Marshall.

Traded Marshall and Blount for OBJ. I'd say the first three are normal, Hopkins I've seen drafted all over the place. Same as Marshall.

Does that include drafts that happened after the first week of the season? All of the random cheat sheets I used had him going in round 5 or so for 10 mans with standard scoring.

Big trade today.

First, traded Forte for Julio and Delanie Walker.

Then traded Walker, E Sanders, and G Tate for Gronk.

forte was possible due to decent backups of Ingram and Dion the Pat RB.

Anyway, 12 man 3 keeper league

I'd say Mariota.

I expect Dallas and New England to be competitive today so I picked Brady in quite a few of my FanDuels. In my main entry I've got Brady, Freeman, D Lewis, Allen, Fitzgerald, T Benjamin, Witten, Santos, and the Broncos D. I've played for 2 weeks now and haven't seen any returns, so I did some 50/50's this time so I hope I can get something back this week at least even it's only a couple bucks. But I feel pretty confident with my lineups that I have. $22 working for 11 entries with 3 or 4 free rolls.

Bengals receivers are a tough call this year. Beyond AJ and Bernard (if PPR) you don't know who will get the ball. Eifert has been relatively consistent though. Excellent red zone target.

Played Clay over Eifert in DFS today, and it probably cost me $25,000 in earnings.. But DFS is always should've-would've-could've. Huge day by Freeman, Packers D, & Hurns, including a solid day from Gurley & Bradford makes for a good day in DFS. As long as Bell plays anywhere near what he is capable tomorrow, 200 point week should pay pretty well.

CJ Anderson has been complete garbage, I hate to drop a 2nd round pick, but he has been awful. Luckily Denver has a crazy good defense, Ware is playing out of his mind. Matt Ryan, tons of success in real life, not great in fantasy. Probably gonna get the drop as well. Need Gates to have a big game tomorrow, and the fantasy teams should go 2-0.

I don't know about Gates. Green looks to have pretty good chemistry with Rivers. I think there's a changing of the guard in SD right now.
