Yea, Phil is a Champion's Tour player now, pretty stupid to have him featured when so many other top players were out on the course at the same time.

Though Sheffler is fun to watch with that sliding back foot. How the fuck does that guy play that well like that?

Watched him lace a hybrid out of bad rough and mud to 10 feet. Missed the eagle putt but made up for it on 18.

Crazy to watch how good they are in person.

To be fair, that round was really no different than anyone else’s. Six players finished with better rounds than Phil. Nine players finished with -2 on the round, including Phil. That leaves 74 players who did worse than Phil. What a blow up.....

I get that... but it quite possibly lost Phil the tournament and his chance at history.

*edit* I also posted that immediately after he dunked his tee shot and doubled that hole. He righted the ship and didn't drop anymore shots afterwards so it wasn't as bad as I had thought it was going to get.
