May be a dumb question, but is the hall of rites even open right now? I got an mc2 from doing that dungeon in the event a couple of weeks ago, but I did it like the last day the event was open and as far as I can see you can't access the hall of rites right now. Do you just hang onto those for the next time it opens?

They had an issue with it earlier, but it's supposed to be fixed now. It's under "The Annex" with Green exchange and the library.
I'm looking at the Soul of Hero's redemption page right now...

Yeah, there it is. It was up in the banner at one time so I was accessing it through there, didn't know to click "The Annex".
So Tempted to keep using mythril pulls to try for Valiant Knife (And Ichigeki / Chocobrush)... but after pulling an oath veil after multiple single pulls.. Maybe it's time to save up.

The second Vincent banner has his cloak, which is far superior to his SSB Shotgun - Zack's AOE SSB sword (with Hastega on top of its 6.0x multiplier), Tifa's SSB Fist (7.8x multiplier, plus 50% self attack boost if you aren't running shout), Vincent's Cape (5.16x multiplier with a stacks-with-literally-everything 35% ATK and MAG buff), Yuffie's Hat (arguably best Medica in the game), and Cid's SB Spear (5.12x multiplier plus 35% ATK and DEF buff and selfhaste).
Cid's relic is the worst of that bunch, but it still puts him in the best-in-class Dragoon/Machinist category (if only he had Combat 5...).

I've always felt Cid is one of those hidden gems. I have his relic, and it's pretty good because it stacks with Shout, plus he has Combat 4 for life siphon. Once Dragoon Jump and Dragon's Blood comes out (And the 6* Ability I guess?), 5* Dragoons become very viable. Of course, that won't be for another 20 events...
The Ultimate for Relm's event is pretty easy if you have decent melee gear. Just remember to hit it twice with Diaga before attacking and remember to count the five turns for demon form. Banishing Strike and Saints Cross on two different knights helps too.
You only need to hit the demon with Diaga. Banishing Strike works fine to change the goddess.
Failure to read on my part, still an easy fight. I managed to snag Reno's SSB rod from pulls and man, with his goggles he is actually useful now. Doesn't hurt that Golbez can use the rod also.

It looks like we're going to get another Lucky Draw on Saturday (during the event roll over time which is 9pm for me as Eastern). It will be 25 Mythril and a one time pull. It will include relics for all characters who can use Combat 5. It's a pretty big list and this was posted on Reddit:

Yup.
In my head I'd had enough Mythril to scrape 300 together for the XII and VII splurge, before my wait for Burstfest-ish.
Might pony up the $ for the lucky draw - it's comparable to the 100-gem draw ($11 for 11 relics), and Lucky Combat might be the best banner in the game. That said, the Debuff Lucky Draw in JP put me at 0/11 even with the Rolling Gacha which was disappointing. So much gambling!

Rolling Gacha is per banner, and you only get one shot per lucky banner... so it didn't help/add anything to that.
Or am I wrong on this?
