Anyone that pre-ordered - have you already been charged for the game? I'm a bit nervous as when I pre-ordered, the $30 was out of my account - but scrolling through my checking account - it looks like that money wasn't charged. Like they did it just to see if I had available funds. Don't want to re-preorder if I don't have to.... as I keep getting the "there was a problem, please try again later" message.

I was charged the full $37.50 from GMG back in June when I pre-ordered ($50 CE minus 25%). They displayed the early access code on the receipt page and sent it via email back then. Did not get the CD/Product key and don't expect to until the 27th.

Echo this, bought from Square and haven't been charged for it yet, not even showing up in the upcoming transactions.

I did the pre-order through SE, got the code instantly. No email yet saying I can go register that code. Tried their pre-order site again, got the same error message, but this time when I checked the account page, it shows that FFXIV is finally registered. Dunno if that is what I need to get early access or not.

There's no level rush in the code game. So I'll wait until they fix the website 3102 error and then login.

I pre-ordered on Newegg and never got an early release code. SO last night I cancelled that pre-order and pre-ordered on Amazon instead. Got the early release code immediately.
Plugged it into their web site a few times today (same issues as everyone else with the website), but it eventually worked and the game shows up in my account profile as others have stated.

So basically if you don't have an early release code yet I would just switch to Amazon. They rock for stuff like this.

Mine has said "working, please wait" for a couple of hours now. I'm afraid to close the window as it might eat my code and i'll have to deal with SE's customer service. *shudder*

I had mine pre-ordered through SE, and cancelled it just now... simply don't trust them to get it right. Re pre-ordered through Amazon, and got my code within minutes. Will try to plug it in this afternoon after these meetings - but I agree - Amazon just dominates stuff like this.

Got a pending charge for the price of the game on my current bank statement. The only email i recieved was right after i ordered that had the key and the link to the preorder site, having the game listed on the "my games" section of the SE account management page didn't happen till i tried to put my code in, so i dunno. the page said i'd be getting my moogle cap and cait sith minion via the mail system in game. What was on the follow up email that some people are talking about? and are they on ps3 or pc? (i'm on pc) I know the ps3 has a separate code you put into the ps3 store thing.

I pre-ordered through SE and just got a notification that they've shipped and charged my credit card. Not showing on the statement yet, that'll take a couple days anyway.

Not really no. FF XIV is run almost entirely by S-E Japan, expecting communication from them--especially in English--is an exercise in futility.
