Yeah I'm getting suspicious of her motives and what her final goal is. There was that scene at castle Black where she was throwing her nakedness at John Snow. What was her plan or intent there? Didn't seem to be any kind of play to help Stannis. The Red Witch clearly has power, but I wonder if she really is working to get Stannis on the throne. So far all her desired sacrifices and her shadow demon target are all House Baratheon. You think the "Lord of Light" might favor a house that has connection to fire breathing monsters?
So it's like current school awards?Might need to raise the floor on that a bit. "Better than Astro" is like winning a trophy for existing.
Agreed.Man, I don't know why so many people in this thread think Jon is going to get rezzed this season. This shit is totally Jon gets stabbed fade to black.
I can't read Orga Borga, but I have to say that judging from the pictures alone: WELL THAT WAS COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED.
Theon turning on the Boltons because he sees Stannis approaching would be pretty retarded considering what he's already stuck by them through.Things Stannis needs:
1. The writers to use one of a large number of plausible scenarios that result in his victory, not limited to:
A. Sansa rallying the North and stage a coup d'etat
B. Theon seeing the approaching army and reeking the shit out of the Boltons.
C. Jon or every true northerner telling Stannis how to get inside, and Stannis sends his 20 ninjas to light the Boltons on fire.
D. Brienne of Tarth she-hulking her way through when Stannis makes a desperate attack.
E. Ramsay getting in a fight with Roose over his future brother and ends up adding a serious weakness.
Hahaha, how did I forget about this? Yeah the wife and I both literally lol'd at that it looked so ridiculous.I question the effectiveness of somersaulting with a sword during gladiatorial combat while fully armored.
You're in a ffa melee to the death, there are two other ppl remaining one is already beaten and badly injured and one is relatively unscathed, which one do you go after first? Edit-I just glanced at your post before, now that I read it, I'd say that way he has the glory of actually killing the last man in combat.I question why the fuck the dude with the spear stabbed the rapier guy about to filet Jorah instead of waiting for Jorah to be killed before stabbing the fencer in the back of his head. Also no one thought to throw a spear at Danerys and instead chucked them at the clearly pissed off, fire breathing monster?
I don't see how they can reliably not use the Ramsay's Brother plot point this season and hold onto that shit until next year when everyone forgets it entirely. Something HAS to come out of that next episode.Theon turning on the Boltons because he sees Stannis approaching would be pretty retarded considering what he's already stuck by them through.
i don't see Ramsey losing in the final episode this season, i see him being a part of the show until the last season. he's too strong of a heel to kill off at this point, and really the only strong heel we have with the Lannisters pretty much disposed of at this point.
edit: I can definitely see Roose dying, possibly by Ramsey's hand.
No way. Stannis torched his daughter out of perceived necessity. Ramsay is a twisted fuck who gleeful does the things he does to others for shits and giggles. If Ramsay was aspiring to rule all of the Seven Kingdoms, what exactly do you think hewouldn'tdo to make that happen? Other than chopping off his own cock, probably nothing.Oh yeah, Stannis just stepped past Ramsay a little.
They could have cut the never ending story ride shot and just done a PoV of her fly away from her comrades (that she left shitting there) watching her fly off- the composite would have been not needed as it would have been farther away and they could have just stick a cg Dany on a cg dragon- the dragon looked great solo and up close- it was the stick this chick on its back while flying away- that sucked. After watching the final arena scene again last night I have to say the CGI on that shit was kind of a defining moment (for me anyway), when it comes to how far technology has come in this modern age. Its basically summer 2015 and the quality of CGI on platforms like a TV show (D&D even said themselves when they initially read the scene they were like yea this is a ridiculous scene and we dont know how we are going to film this, this is like big budget movie shit lol) is at a point now where the bar has been raised.
TLDR seeing shit CGI is gonna stick out like a sore thumb even more now given how good it is developing. I think we all have contemplated what its going to be like seeing the larger/grown version of the dragon/dragons flying around in action or close up and interacting with actors, and we finally got to see that and it lived up to if not beat my expectations as to what HBO could do.
The dragon was ok. When it was on the ground breathing fire it was good. When it was in flight though, coming and going, it was horrible. The obviousness of the greenscreen was so bad that there was a real argument to be made for doing it some other way. After watching the final arena scene again last night I have to say the CGI on that shit was kind of a defining moment (for me anyway), when it comes to how far technology has come in this modern age.
