Two Oklahoma high school student-athlete were killed Monday afternoon after they and four other teammates were struck by a pickup truck while running for cross-country practice, officials said.

Lewis said he struck other vehicles before and after plowing into the students.

“We are waiting on a warrant to draw his blood, which is typical with someone involved in a fatality crash but they are investigating the possibility of him being intoxicated,” Lewis said.

Police also told KFOR that Townsend’s 28-year-old son was killed in a car accident on Sunday, not far from Monday’s crime scene.

A gas station is fighting to stay open because a man in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, allegedly filmed an explicit video in one of its aisles.

In July 2018, Frederick Allen, a convicted felon, allegedly made a video of himself having sex in the snack aisle of the gas station located on the corner of 35th Street and Townsend, according to Fox 6.

Allen’s channel on the adult website, PornHub, has more than 67,000 subscribers and an excess of 100 million views.

The report continued:

Allen is known among his online fans for explicit acts in public places, from shopping malls to movie theaters, public streets even public parks – including Milwaukee’s Swing Park. He’s made sex videos in fast-food parking lots, inside hospital rooms, on top of car hoods and city rooftops.

The video in question reportedly showed convenience store owner Kulwant Dhillon watching Allen perform the act on the floor while an employee recorded the incident with a cell phone.

“The bad choice to allow staff to tape it. That, to me, is just as bad as not calling the police,” said District 6 Alderwoman Milele Coggs.

Once Allen allegedly uploaded the video to his PornHub channel and tagged it with “35th and Townsend,” a resident reported it to Alderman Khalif Rainey.

“We can’t allow these things to go on in our community,” he said of the disturbing incident.

In September 2019, the Milwaukee Common Council voted not to renew the store’s business license. The vote prompted Kool Petroleum Inc., the company that owns the gas station, to sue the city.

“A Milwaukee County Judge issued a temporary injunction allowing the gas station to remain open while the case makes its way through court. That case is still pending,” the report said.

Residents expressed disgust with the video at the hearing in September.

“I’m sick and tired of our community being a garbage dump,” said Pastor Martin Childs of nearby Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

“What if your sister had walked in? What if your mother had walked in?” he added.

However, Allen allegedly boasted that the gas station footage was not the worst of his exploits.

“I got way worse videos than that. I’m cold with a camera,” he reportedly said.

The case is set to be heard again on April 2 in Milwaukee County Circuit Court.

Superior Court Justice Kevin Phillips has ruled that McConville will cool his heels in jail for 30 days, after the 55-year-old former mayoral candidate from Ottawa admitted the extremes he went to in order to keep from paying over $300,000 in spousal and child support. “How does destroying over a million dollars advance your child’s best interest?” the judge asked.

McConville admitted to selling multiple properties, banking the money, then withdrawing that money in cash over a series of 25 ATM transactions. Once he had gathered the approximately $1,050,000 together, he set it on fire. “It’s not something I would normally do,” he told Phillips. “I am not a person that is extremely materialistic. A little goes a long way. I have always been frugal. That’s why my business lasted for 31 years.”

“Most of the known viruses of amoeba have been seen to share many features that eventually prompted authors to classify them into common evolutionary groups,” the authors wrote. They added that Yaravirus “carries an important number of previously undescribed genes.” The virus has the ability to infect amoebas. Researchers said there is no evidence the virus can infect humans.

The Yaravirus, named after Brazilian water goddess Yara, was found in Lake Pampulha, which is an artificial lagoon in the city of Belo Horizonte, according to a research paper published on BioRxiv. Researchers at France’s Aix Marseille University and Brazil’s Federal University of Minas Gerais found that more than 90 percent of the genetic makeup of the virus has never been seen before.

In elaborating on how unusual the virus is, Abrahao said only six of its 74 genes showed some degree of similarity to other known viruses. The new virus is only 80 nanometers in diameter, or about 0.1 percent the thickness of a human hair. But he said the discovery suggests scientists “know only a very small fraction of this diversity” of viruses on Earth. “There is still a lot to explore,” he added.

Has Boeing hit rock bottom at this point ? They really seem to have gone waaay too far into the cost cutting and managing through Excel spreadsheets, moving the HQ from Seattle to Chicago so that those pesky engineers can't bother the management isn't a move in the right direction, imo. Will Boeing management be able to let people with actual technical knowledge call the shot again, and start making planes that were super reliable like the 777 or the 737 ?

Boeing is still worth twice as much as Airbus, and with Airbus now having multiple assembly line in the USA, even the increase of tariffs aren't going to protect Boeing much, as Airbus as one A320 and two A220 production lines in the USA/Canada, that's about 200 planes / year.

That being said, the A220 is encountering some significant problem with its engine, multiples aircrafts had to do an emergency landing after engine failure, if Airbus manage to fix that issue, it would mean that Boeing really has a huge problem, but honestly their main problem isn't Airbus, it's their own management.

42-year-old Baxter had self-inflicted stab wounds and got himself out of the car, but died at the scene.
The mother of the children, Hannah Baxter, was taken to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. She was 31. ABC Australia reports Ms. Baxter had jumped from the vehicle at the time and yelled "he's poured petrol on me."

nothing in there says there were stab wounds on the children, this whitey decided to bbq his kids, bbq his wife and he tried to stab himself

She suffered significant burns and was helped out of the vehicle by a man after the fire started. He also suffered burns and was taken to hospital.

this why i have a fire extinquisher in my car, i hard mount it to the front of the passenger seat. i don't want it in the trunk b/c i don't know if it would be a rear accident and the trunk would be inaccessible.

also the bat is under the passenger seat too, waste too much time trying to run out to your trunk to grab a bat.
