A farmer in northern B.C. who caught a lynx in his chicken coop on Sunday didn't react the way one might expect. He didn't grab a gun or yell at the wild animal.

Instead, Chris Paulson grabbed the lynx by the scruff of its neck, lifted it off the ground and scooped it from the coop. Then he gave it a gentle scolding.
...
Paulson said he was able to put the lynx in a dog kennel before relocating it "a bit further out in the bush."

The lynx was so skinny that Paulson and his family decided to leave the two dead chickens with the animal in the bush.

A tolerance maybe, but that is a freak of nature. You start getting into the .5 for whole blood (hospitals usually use serum blood for ETOH testing which is like 20% higher than whole blood BAC on average) and above range and you’re starting to look at acute alcohol toxicity and most people wouldn’t even be able to function/stay awake, let alone drive.

That headline is funny. Saw it twice already. First it was the size of New York, then it was the size of Los Angeles in the headline. Next will be the size of Australia or the moon or something.

These "an iceberg the size of a state" news items are getting tired as fuck, but they serve the fearmongering purpose. This shit happens every god damn year as the ice grows then breaks up and melts.

Just remind the retards that if icebergs never calved off Antarctica then the entire southern hemisphere would be one giant block of ice.

An Ice Berg larger than the planet Earth broke off the arctic shelf Saturday, another troubling sign of global warming and the effects of humans on the environment.

When skeptics questioned the size of this ice berg, Greta Thunberg exclaimed “How Dare You!” And won a Nobel Peace prize.

Missouri pastor on leave after sexist sermon preaching wives need to look good for their husbands
A Missouri pastor is on leave after a video emerged of him preaching that wives should strive to be thin, made up, well-dressed and satisfying in the bedroom to keep their husbands interested because "God made men to be drawn to beautiful women."

"I want you to know a need that your man has that he won’t ever tell you about, but since I’m the preacher man, I’ll say it: Your man needs an attractive wife," First General Baptist Church Pastor Stewart-Allen Clark said from the pulpit at the start of the sermon, according to a video posted to Facebook.

A statement posted by First General Baptist Church's deacon ministry team said that "as of March 2, 2021, Pastor Stewart-Allen Clark has taken a leave of absence and is seeking professional counseling."

General Baptist Ministries, which the church is affiliated with, said Clark's sermon "included comments that are not consistent with the positions and values of General Baptists. General Baptists believe that every woman was created in the image of God, and they should be valued for that reason," the statement said.

Article says a kid in the car that got hit was also killed. Plane looks like it impacted the rear of the car and spun it around. I wonder how fast that plane was traveling just prior to impact.

Can any pilots here comment on how a small aircraft like that would crash like that? I think the "deadly turn to final" wouldn't look like that, just some how lost control? I mean if you were out of gas you would be able to setup for a decent landing parallel to some road right? Or is that an airport on the left?

Sanpped it on the turn. Too slow and too much elevator. Or just some physical loss of something on the plane like losing half an elevator or something.
